Hotel California Beach Club — Restaurant in Benidorm

Every time we visit Benidorm, we stop at Hotel California for the happy hour between 12 and 3pm.  During happy hour, 2 lagers cost 2.10€. Its bar service only and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The bar also has a great selection of cocktails, but does not offer bar meals. There is however, a snack machine selling nuts and pringles for example. On all visits we have sat outside on the sunny terrace, which has a great atmosphere (popular) and a huge TV to watch all major events including sport

During the evening Hotel California becomes extremely busy (with all age groups). Daily there is a great line-up of tribute bands and acts from 8pm including Rod Father, Oasis, Matt Fisher, Tina Turner, Leroy Smokes and Rob Richards just to name a few.  The tribute acts vary from day to day, and are advertised on Facebook and on boards outside the pub.

On the evenings we attended, the bar was very popular with standing room only.  Inside the bar, there was comfortable seating and a stage. The bar was very clean and there were plenty of bar staff who worked extremely hard all night.  We will definitely be visiting again because we always have a great time and the drinks were...

We came here after leaving another bar for a drink or two. The music was great and they had the inside live music playing on a live screen outside the bar itself. We knew in here would be a great atmosphere by how busy and happy everyone looked in here. It was particularly enjoyable for the short while we stayed. Although we enjoyed sitting and listening in the bar we have two negative points. 1. Getting a drink I spent half an hour attempting to get 2 drinks with only 3 groups of two in front and the couple in front of me must have spent a lot longer as they were they as we arrived trying to find a seat. The toliet doors would not lock luckily a lady in front of me seen me enter so she was able to let people know i was in. All in all it was okay and on a less busy night you could probably get...

We love hotel California, go there a lot. My only criticism is that they think everyone who goes in is deaf. They have top artists, and there can be a great atmosphere. However, when there is no one inside, and the bar staff cannot hear your order, because it's too loud. Someone had to realise what is wrong. I don't suppose this will ever happen, I take ear plugs,...
