Zodiac House — Restaurant in Benidorm

We visited this little tapas restaurant in Benidorm as a group of girls (ages 30–50) and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was faultless – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Both the chicken paella and seafood paella were incredible (some of the best we’ve ever had!) and the tapas starters were just as tasty.

The sangria was stunning – light, refreshing and very moreish – and the service was excellent; the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout. The restaurant is tucked away down a quieter street, which makes it feel like a true hidden gem, but it’s well worth finding.

5 Tapas options and a bottle of wine for €5 you can't really complain. The Tapas options are 90% small things on bread, heated in a microwave and the wine bottles are refilled and reused. But the food was good and the wine was really nice. Service however was pretty poor and men / Spanish speaking people are served first, no matter how long you have been waiting. We picked all of our options and were asked to sit down, but then the food never came. When we went back to check, it had been given to someone else and we had to pick all over again. The Zodiac House is a lovely place where you can meet local people enjoying local food. Their tapas are excellent and very affordable. You can also enjoy promotions where for as little as €7 they provide 6 tapas accompanied by a bottle of cava, white or red vino or big jar of beer. Excellent atmosphere and delicious authentic food - can't ask for more. This place guarantees that your Benidorm experience will be 5 star.
