Dena Ona — Restaurant in Bilbao

I went there because of high ratings and closeness, unfortunately it was not worth that amount of money. Waitress is really nice and is helpful since I am not from Basque Country or Spain. So to start - menu is full of meat or you have nothing to eat, no fish or sea food which should be a standard for basquian cusine… so from the beggining it was hard to propose me anything since I do not eat meat. At the end I ordered menu el día - salad (but I wasn’t sure what will be inside), eggs and potatoes. Salad was literally two leaves of ice lettuce, two hard boiled eggs, 4 olives, 2 asparagus, 2 thin tomato slices… I would be ashamed to give it to the guest, I think it would a bit better if it would be more lettuce and fresher igrediences but what I’ve been served was poor. As a main dish I got two fried eggs (yolk was really well made because it was rainy when cutted) and… less than handful of french fries and the cheapest from supermarket, not homemade. Once again, I understand that meeting vegetarians is rare in the restaurant but in many restaurants in Spain and outside, restaurant services proposed to me double side dish or gave simple vegetables like cut tomatoes as a side dish. It still wouldn’t be the best, but I would appreciate trying and flexibility to make my visit as pleasant as they could. But I went off the restaurant still hungry and disappointed. And with bottle of water I payed 16 euros for that… Maybe the place is good for drinks and that’s why it has so good rates, but definitely not as...

Un cortado 1,75€.... La comida grasienta y con mucho aceite. El agua es del grifo aunque está embotellada pero por una botella de 1/2 litro te cobran 2€! Una locura... Unos huevos con patatas y jamón 12 €... Pedimos una ración de frituras que era muy escasa para los 20 € que costaba.... La verdad que ha empeorado bastante la calidad y el precio es elevado. Por una ración de frituras, un plato de huevos con jamón y patatas, un plato de manitas de cerdo deshuesadas (que tenían hueso), 1 agua de 1/2 litro, una botella de viña real (17€), pan, 2 postres y un café pagamos casi 89€ en una cafetería. Los platos eran básicos para el coste... El servicio bastante lamentable, salvo por un camarero que está atendiendo a las mesas que era agradable y muy trabajador a diferencia de los otros 3 que estaban...

Estuve el domingo comiendo con mi marido y mis hijos para celebrar el día de la madre y fué un auténtico desastre. Comimos a la carta y el servicio fué nefasto. La espera entre plato y plato fué un horror ya que tardaron más de media hora en traernos el primer entrante y así toda la comida. Tuve la sensación de hacer la digestión tres veces. No se puede consentir que te sirvan de esa manera con los precios que tienen, así que no lo recomiendo y por supuesto no pienso volver. Al final no tuvieron ni el más mínimo detalle aún sabiendo que estabamos descontentos. Uno de los peores sitios donde he estado... Por no decir el peor en cuanto al servicio. Si no se puede atender bien a los clientes... igual deberían decir que no a...
