Namaste Restaurante — Restaurant in Bilbao

I visited this restaurant to celebrate a happy family occasion recently. It is a very relaxed food experience within the busy city centre of Bilbao. The staff were genuinely helpful and happy and made the time with them so pleasant. While it was my first time there, my sibling family had recommended it because they had been there previously. The menu is easy to read because the dishes are all immediately recognisable. The staff were even switching between English and Castellano while speaking to us with ease and were so friendly that it made the whole experience like just eating at your local familiar restaurant at home. We recently ate lunch at Namaste, and I must say I was quite disappointed. The first thing that struck me was the slow service. It felt like we were waiting an eternity for our orders to arrive. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re constantly glancing at your watch.

As for the food, it was eatable, but nothing to write home about. The flavors were mediocre, and I’ve had better Indian cuisine elsewhere. I couldn’t understand how this place had such high ratings.

The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was polite, but that doesn’t make up for the slow service and average food. Maybe I visited on an off day, but I expected more from a restaurant with such...

Ayer fue la tercera vez que estuve en el restaurante, la primera la experiencia no fue satisfactoria porque tenían un problema con el aire acondicionado y caían partículas de polvo y suciedad sobre la mesa, nos cambiaron de mesa,, nos cambiaron el agua. bien, correcto.

La segunda fuí con mi madre y pareja me sorprendió el cambio para bien, presentación de los platos sabor..

Ayer fuí con mi pareja también ,pedimos un entrante extra además del menú, onion bhaji (esto lo comentó para que sepa el dueño quienes eramos) gastronómicamente hablado todo correcto... el problema vino después, tengo que decir que la segunda vez pedí la especialidad vindaloo( muy picante ) y no tuve ningún problema estomacal.

Ya ayer desde la tarde noche el estómago fatal y hoy diarrea constante y mal estar estomacal, acabo de llamar a mi pareja y esta igual, como comento tengo amplia tolerancia al picante,especias... lo que me hace pensar que pudo ser algo que estaba en mal estado, o quizás el aceite de las frituras que este muy usado, no se cual es la causa pero aqui estoy escribiendo con el estómago muy muy revuelto.

El detalle de que que el menú normal incluya botella de 33 cl de agua muy pobre, sobre todo yendo en pareja ...la diferencia de precio entre dos botellas de 33cl y una de 1,5 l tiene que ser mínima y con comida especiada picante,,, mas que necesaria..
