This little spot in a shaded plaza adjacent to the archaeological museum in Córdoba has become one of my favourite venues for a satisfying lunch.
Despite its being a short distance from the bustling streets of the historic centre of the city, it tends to be not overly crowded. There are plenty of tables, so there is always a good chance of being accommodated.
Food is satisfyingly good. Service is efficient, friendly and helpful. There is frequently music provided not by the cafe, but by a freelance musician. The ambience is tranquil and refreshing.
If you’re looking for a pretentious establishment to eat or drink a glass of wine, this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you hope to enjoy tasty food and decent beer and wine in a relaxed, peaceful setting, you won’t go far wrong by making your way to here.
Confidently and enthusiastically recommended.

Read moreHarsh to give this place 4, but it's just not more than a low 4.something. A nice street terrace and plenty of tables, service was quick but not particularly engaging or helpful. We had pork skewers which were excellent (minimum order of two), the traditional eggplant with honey - which was nice but not really noteworthy - but a good sized portion, and a Russian salad - which was very reasonable, pretty fresh and tasty. Slightly higher prices and not especially welcoming makes me...
