Pie N Pint — Restaurant in Calvià

We had 2 meals whilst away, the full English one morning and returned for the Pie and Pint meal later in the week. The breakfast was good although to the FIL’s disappointment most of the beer was out of stock. The Pie and Pint meal was lovely, although they had no stock of M&P so opted for the Steak & Ale which was very tasty and chips were spot on. The location is a little away from the main tourist area (only a few minute walk) which is a shame as it’s quiet, and they stop serving at 17:00 which is a little early for a hot meal as it’s still a warm time of day. Went to have sunday lunch , saw there was a table reserved and went inside to a table with no reservation sign. Then was met by the comedian who said do you want the good news or the bad news ? My wife said always the bad news first , then he says we are fully booked. So my wife says whats the good news and he says there isn't any. Bare in mind this was in front off all the other customers. I actually tried to book a table and they don't even have a website and nobody ansered the phone when i called .Not surprising really as they only have a 5 tables. Can't speak about Food and it was Quite when we went for a Drink, but this Place is owned by two lovely friendly people from the Black Country. Who gave us good advice on places to go Eat and Drink and places with Good Value.

The drinks at the Pint and Pie were Very Good Prices, certainly save money. The next time we Visit Santa Ponsa i will 100% be returning for a BOST'IN...
