Came to this place for lunch when we arrived to Cuenca and could find anything around that we liked (or was open). We were lucky to get a table as it was peak lunch time so would recommend booking in advance if you want to come here specifically. The overall impression is that this place is a no fuss restaurant with a lot of food options. They of course specialise in grilled good so meat is a good option. We didn’t feel like having a heavy lunch so opted for tapas style dishes. The staff were friendly and the food was good. A bit more expensive than what you would expect but overall a nice experience. We went to have lunch and we were very impressed. They have different dishes to offer and they also have menu to choose from. The quality and the taste of food is fantastic. We chose a menu for 23 euros per person. Menu includes entrè, main dish, dessert, bread, vine, water and little tapa. They are flexible so if you want some changes feel free to ask. We had the zarajos (tripe) and 1/2 conejo (rabbit) from the grill and both were superb. The zarajos had more flavor, and was better than at the other place we had it. This is the kind of place you always hope to find; just outside the tourist zone, serving traditional food to the locals.
