Worst food ever, waste of money.

The food was tasteless, they don’t know how veg Pakodas are made, got veg bhajiya dipped in a litre oil which we had to soak with tissues.

We Ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, the paneer was rock solid and I believe it was synthetic not Paneer. Tawa Chapati- was grilled as had marks of grill and veg oil on it not butter or ghee.

Last but not the least- the plates were dirty, we had to clean it ourself with the tissue.

The staff were speechless and they themselves knew that they were serving a very low quality food that’s why they didn’t even come to us and ask how was the food.

Wow potentially the nicest Indian meal we have ever had. We ordered chicken pakora & paneer tikka to start, portions were huge and the food was so fresh and cooked to perfection. For mains we ordered a lamb jalfrezi (the star of the show for us), a chicken kadai, pilau rice and a garlic and cheese naan with extra cheese. All of the dishes were delicious and full of flavour, with spice level perfect to our request. On top of this, the prices were extremely reasonable for what we ate. We enjoyed our first meal at Shan so much earlier this week that we returned again today for lunch! Everything about the restaurant is perfect: the service, décor, toilets, location and, of course, the delicious food! We have travelled to India and absolutely love Indian cuisine and this is definitely some of the best food we have ever tasted.
