A warm and friendly welcome from Virginia who provided us with English menus (note: the menu online is different). Great vibe in the restaurant.

We ordered two fantastic pizzas - authentic Italian woodfired. I had the Tentazione pizza which was delicious - really flavorful ham too. My husband had a Pasticciona pizza which he felt was so authentic, generous toppings and tasty. And we had a bottle of red wine.

The service throughout the night was excellent - attentive, professional and friendly - and service like this makes a restaurant great. And I have to say the best Italian pizzas we've ever had - excellent.

And...

Terrible experience. Upon arrival, we were rudely and abruptly spoken to by the waiter when asking if there were any available tables. Whilst being directed to our table, the waiter took another guests order before showing us to our seats, followed by zero table service. If you value polite customer service, I would not recommend this...

This is a fabulous although unassuming looking restaurant from the outside. It's fantastic food with homemade pasta and gnocchi and delicious bread with great service is worth searching out. I would definitely come back here. Thank you for a very delicious meal! Five stars...
