Great place to eat tapas! Very good taste and presentation and the locals come here for a reason. Also has good selection of wines and is very reasonably priced. (1,70€/tapa, date 2017). Best to either come early or be prepared to wait a little while as there tends to form a little line. We read that others had to pay cash but we could pay with card (12/2017). Might have been a genuine mistake but we got one extra tapa on our bill. (Or did we make the counting mistake? We didn't dispute the bill as it would have been a well deserved tip otherwise and there was no way to prove either was right. And we did had a few glasses.)

I'm not a connoisseur, but I'm guessing this is how tapas was meant to be. Delicious and varied dishes - all at sensible sizes so you get to sample a wide range of what is on offer. Eexcellent a la carte options {TRY THE HAKE!) and lots of wine options (white Rioja like a great Pouilly Fumé for €14). Hosts Javier and Tanya are warm, welcoming and expert at recommending wines and dishes to suit tastes/budgets. All at very reasonable price. Top tip: book a day in advance as it can get busy after 9....

Came here because of the reviews. We chose from the tapas which is situated inside the restaurant. You just help yourself to whatever you like the look of. I'm vegetarian and managed fine to find some tapas choices. Lovely friendly staff, reasonably prices too. Just under €30 for 8 tapas dishes, potato bravos side which there was loads of and a couple of drinks. Would defo go back again and recommend a visit. It's not in the main centre but the walk is not far at all.

Authentic Basque food. We were looking for a restaurant in which be able to talk, light drink, eat more in a variety of tastes and with more personal rhythm than a normal format and this is the place. We did a slow paced chill dinner, divided in 2 tempos, with first cervezas and then wine, eating two different kind of tapas. We spent 50 with 12 tapas, 2 beers, and 2 red wines. Tapas are fresh and I really love the vibe, eat outside is a plus!

The food is good, but service is not. The waitress doesn’t pay attention at us at all, we felt like invisible for some time. There were a lot of tourists from different countries and in the restaurant works only one waitress who speaks English. The attitude to ppl from different countries also was different. Dishes are really big and the prices match. I can’t tell that it is cheap, but it was delicious. I don’t think we will come back.

Extensive selection of tapas on the bar for just 1.70 per piece. There was enough variety to make a complete meal for a reasonable price. Very nice tasting cheeses and meat. They also have a great wine selection. Service was quick and friendly. Everybody spoke just enough English to help us out. If you don't want to stand in line make sure that you arrive before nine because the place fills up quickly.
