My boyfriend and I are American but always want an authentic experience to the area we are in. There were a lot of places that felt like they catered to tourists, but this is not one of them! We went in a little early for Spain (7pm) and got a seat at the bar for tapas. This was our first real tapas experience where the food was free with our drinks. And the tapas were AMAZING! Fish in what I think is the bodega sauce, potato salad and chicken wings that simply melted off the bone. This was also the best Vermouth we've had in Spain so far. They also have Alhambra beer on tap which we like a lot. By the time we were finished the place was full and people were leaving because there was no space. We loved the experience and would...

Avoid going here. We just went there for lunch and were told there was a line-up list. Put down our name, 3-4 names ahead of us, and waited for half an hour. Many tables left and we still did not hear them calling anyone’s names on the list. We noticed two groups that just arrived went in and sat down. When I asked about this, I was told one group were on the list where they clearly were not and the other are here only for tapas although nobody told us that was an option even. I think they are either very poorly organized or they just let the people they know enter without waiting. Whichever the case, this place is not worth...

We visited this tavern after reading so nice and good reviews and wanted so much to taste the traditional food and dishes of Granada BUT once we arrived first me and my husband and asked for a table for four (as we were waiting for another two friends to come) the waiter not be able to understand english was so impolite and totally unwilling to serve us. They just told us that they can't give us a table for two (even if there were many available tables), and they made us to leave. Their behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional. I feel so bad to have such a bad impression for Granada restaurant. It's...

Nice place. A lot of local people coming there. The prices are fair and the portions are huge. We ordered croquettes (local dish), fried squids and pork with tomato souce. Next day we ordered paella. Everything was really good (especially paella and croquettes). The staff is nice and they are speaking english what is not common in Spain. The choise of wines is also big. The weakest point of this this place is dessert. We ordered cheesecake and some lemon pudding and it wasn't good like the rest we ordered before. They don't serve hot drinks.
