I honestly don’t understand how this place has good reviews, other than the fact that they seem to push people to leave five stars. I ordered a quesadilla, which the waitress forgot to put in, so I was already waiting about 30 minutes. When it finally came out, it was just four tiny tortillas with a little sauce and barely any cheese. I told the waitress these weren’t quesadillas, they were tacos. She snapped back saying, “This isn’t Taco Bell.” I’ve been to Mexico several times and know good Mexican food…this wasn’t it. The staff was standoffish, the prices were way too high for what you get, and honestly, I could’ve made something better at home. On top of that, the margaritas were watered down with almost no alcohol. Save your money and your time…skip this place!

Wow! Best food I have had in all of Granada! The best Mexican food I've had, and I am from California-- so that's saying a LOT! Amazing service, they speak English, bring out so many dishes, everything made from scratch, and the owner/chef comes out, talks to you, let's you try dishes, and is the kindest most fun woman to make friends with! I love Granada but I'm coming back for this restaurant the most. If you want to try the best guac ever, come here. I recommend the chicken fajitas, tacos al pastor (they have pineapple in them!), and guac! The chef even made accommodations for our strict vegetarian family member and made everything separately for him. Oh, can't forget the mango margarita-- to die for!

We are originally from Los Angeles. We know our tacos. These were just like home. The salsa "pica" and the drinks have the right piquete. If you're ever in Granada and feel like you need a reminder of the Americas, go down to el Ranchito Mexicano. The owner herself has a pretty interesting story, having lived in California and Mexico has nailed the taste. I recommend the chamoyada and the tacos (any) I had the tacos al pastor con salsa de habanero. For dessert a chamoyada!

Terrible experience! We came here as a family while visiting Granada, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the time. But honestly what really shocked me was the owner’s behavior. At one point of the night she actually came over, and took my child’s chair because the one she was sitting on was “new” and brought her another one, (in worse shape) mind you my daughter is 3 and we were in the middle of our dinner. I honestly could not believe it. She replaced it with an old and wobbly one without even apologizing. It was extremely rude and uncomfortable.

And I usually don’t like to write bad reviews, but this was beyond unacceptable. Between the poor food and the owner’s attitude, we will never be coming back. What a shame to give a Mexican...
