We went to this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend, at the beginning the vibes was nice and the decoration also the prices were affordable, however our experience wasn’t as expected As for people visiting Granada for two days and trying to save time The service was very bad and slow and unprofessional The girls needs more training about customer service and professionalism, One of the girls took our order and she missed our main meal which is the mix bbq, also we asked for the type of salad in the mezza mix she didn’t know also the type of salad, we tried to ignore, after our food got served we started waiting for the bbq mix for 30 mins until I reached the girl on the counter asking her about the plate because we don’t have whole day to wait for a plate she said it hasn’t been ordered with no manner and chewing the bubble gum. she didn’t m apologise and she said ‘do u want me to order the plate’? We said yes because we didn’t have another choice, so she didn’t inform the staff inside directly, so we had to wait another 40 mins because they served the people who came after us. We got really disappointed because as a middle Eastern restaurant usually they approach customers to see if they need anything, i recommend they need a supervisor to look after customer service on the floor and more mature people to run a. Restaurant and experienced because all the workers seemed to be lost expect one girl tried to save the situation I had to ask her to change the chips for us because it got cold by the time we received the bbq mix plate. Also no garlic with the tawook served and no bread refill has been given. Not coming here back again, I wish the restaurant all the best in the future just posting my point of view to be more careful and not to lose customers...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant during our stay in Granada. Me and my partner wanted some Moroccan tea and we were served by the most rudest and horrible member of staff. We are well travelled tourists and as tourists we accommodate to the country’s main customs/language. However, this one particular waitress made it extremely hard for us to understand her when she spoke in Spanish. She could clearly see we were struggling to understand, and when I made it clear that I wasn’t sure what she was referring to, she code-switched to English and had a horrible attitude. When we finished ordering the tea, she threw the menus on the shelf and was very cold for the rest of our stay. It was such a pity because me and my partner were praising the aesthetics of the restaurant and while we had already had our dinner, we were planning to dine there on our last day in Granada, but unfortunately this didn’t happen due to the extremely poor and rude service from this woman. We ordered the Moroccan tea and some baklava, but we were only told the baklava was finished after we had placed our order and the tea was given to us. I’m sure this is a one off, as the restaurant has fantastic reviews, and the quality of the food looked appetising and fresh, but this certain worker was outright rude and had an awful...
Read moreI stumbled across this gem on my first day in Granada, and it’s safe to say that this restaurant has changed my life. The exterior is cozy and small, but the flavors are big. The pages of the menu were worn with love, and I could immediately tell that I was about to live for the first time in my life.
I got the Kabsa con pollo and fell in love with the multitude of textures and flavors. The almonds provide a lovely crunch while the raisins are ever slightly so sweet to add to the complexity of flavors in the saffron rice. The sauce that came with it was perfectly seasoned, and had a little kick of spice. The chicken itself was perfectly cooked, slightly charred and falling off the bone.
The Mil y una noches tea is to die for. It’s sweet and smells like strawberry shortcake, aromatic but not too floral or overwhelming.
The Maqlooba con pollo was decadent as well. The white sauce that paired with it sent me to another universe. I will never forget this restaurant, and thank you to the lovely waitress who recommended these dishes to us.
I will think about this meal for the rest of my life. I’m a new person after this...
