NOT GENUINE MOROCCAN TAGINE OR FOOD, do not go here. Had the menu del día after seeing this place recommended somewhere. More pricey than others around but can not contest for the other qualities as only tried this place. The hummus at the start was passable but felt watered down slightly (not very thick and not an intense flavour profile which I personally like) plus was served with normal bread not Moroccan or flat bread - but the ‘tagine’ for second plate was abomnibal. No thick sauce, literally like water. A selection of vegetables but no sweetness, spice or apricot. Also lacked basic salt seasoning. NOT a Tagine and if you are expecting one or want to try one AVOID HERE. Service also shocking, had to ask multiple times for things. Waiters seemed either miserable or angry. Toilets gross. Cutlery served to us wet from freshly washing. Other diners around all seemed dissapointed as well despite ordering off the actual menu. I live in Spain and can assure you this is NOT worth your money, shop around and go find a quieter spot where you can see what people are ordering. Oh the regret. AVOID...
Read moreI have tried many many restaurants in Granada and this was definately the worst one. I ordered cuscus vegetal , tajin , humus and ensalada. I am pretty sure that the veggies were gone bad and were not edible. There were no flavors but water in all of those dishes. Me and my wife , we could not even finish the dishes and trust me I finish everything, so it was a big deal. I would recommend trying the restaurant kasbah right in front of it. Also the service were super bad, the guy was there as long as we were possible clients, right after ordering he vanished and never to be seen again. If I describe the dishes for someone who will read the dishes. Hummus - very watery and quite less in quantity. Ensalada - I thought it is salad but the guy brought some cooked egg plants instead. Tajin - watery with no salt or seasoning, veggies were definately expired. Veg cuscus - same bad veggies and there were some very sweet...
Read moreSIMPLY GO ELSEWHERE. There are plenty of amazing restaurants in Granada, but this isn’t one of them. We were greeted with a friendly hello by what we think was the owner. After, a gentleman served us who also appeared to be the owner. This is when things went downhill. He was talking on his cell phone when starting to take our order. He then grew impatient when we couldn’t decide if we wanted the 4€ drink he offered us. He stormed away angry. He was rude from this point on. When he brought our meal but it was vegetable couscous, but we ordered chicken couscous. At this point, we simply ate it because he was so rude. The couscous was OK at best and it was clear we were an interference in his life by eating in his restaurant. A very unpleasant experience in an otherwise wonderful city. Overall, 28€ for two people was also excessive for what...
