The vibe of the place is well made with furniture and small nooks and music that goes really well with the theme of the place.
The waiters are nice to talk to but they did not remove the already used sisha (by a previous customer ) container during the whole stay there.
We order two pieces of dessert that came Lightning fast but only with a knife so no way to cut them. The fork we had to ask extra. As soon as the brought the dessert we got tempted to try to the food so we ordered some falafel and salad that also came without any cutlery. At this points we just decided to share the cutlery we had on the table already …
Now regarding the food. I understand we are in Spain but with the whole effort put in the music, menu and ambience of the place the food was not only far from authentic but really disappointing.
Falafel served with mayonnaise ( my Turkish partner got pale from the sight ) and very dry , while the salad drown I repeat drown to the core in oil. Hopefully the photos can illustrate a bit.
Last but not least the we order came cold and tasteless.
We were very excited to try again some Turkish and Arabic food after some nice trips on the past to Istanbul and while once again we understand this is Spain we definitely expected a bit more...
Read moreOur order came 3 out of 4. All lamb tajines missed dates and prunes even if they are precisely advertised with them in the menu. and 1 dish missed enough meat having basically 3 small pieces of meat in a huge plate of grease and almonds! Terrible ! I didn’t have any almonds at all and a lot of meat. My dad didn’t get his dish until much later. No prunes no dates! :/ we asked to add them but we got only 3-4 in my dish and none in the others The waiter tried to solve the problems by bringing some extra veggies and an extra plate of meat but the taste wasn’t the same.. then our bread was forgotten .. the dishes were very saulty.. but we didn’t even speak about it after having all the bad experiences:/ the kitchen is tiny for a very large place which probably explains the situation . I feel like the good reviews may be fake as all of them have many photos.. or maybe it’s good for...
Read moreKasbah had good food! I actually really liked the beef tagine, which tasted quite a bit like the south Asian dish Nihari. Typically though, tagine has more veggies but this one was just the meat. We also had the chicken skewer with chicken samosas. The samosas were definitely a bit dry and the restaurant could provide some chutney or sauce with them to help. We also had the Mutabal as a starter which was also good but again could use some chutney to go along with it. Overall a decent experience in the heart of Granada and we were glad to enjoy some good halal food. The dessert we had was a date pastry which was ok! The Pakistani chai was really good to top it all off. The restaurant can get very busy and some parts of it can get hot even though there are some fans scattered all over. The service was a tad slow too but I think that could be a result of how...
