Great service, large portions and good value for the money. They had a very extensive menu of classic Spanish tapas, and meat dishes but I found the seafood to be limited. We got olives and meat with salsa on the house as we arrived, the meat was well-cooked and nicely seasoned. I had the sopa castellana, a type of tomato soup with ham, garlic and egg, the broth was a bit too oily. From the tapas that we ordered my favorites were the fried eggs with pepper and foie, and fried artichokes with black honey. The batter on artichoke wasn't too thick, and it hadn't soaked up too much oil so that was the highlight of the dinner for me. We also tried the scrambled eggs with mushrooms and the salmon with orange sauce, both if which were fine.

To pair with the dinner I asked for a local, dry white wine and the waiter suggested an Albarino from O Fillo da Condesa, which went really well with the fried tapas. Overall, La Botilleria is a nice place to try out different tapas, with great service and a...

I strongly suspect that they treat foreign customers differently. The portion of tapas served to us was significantly smaller than the local customers, and there were no chips. This is the conclusion we have drawn after comparing the two tables of local customers next to us. When I questioned them, the reply that other customers were paying extra to add chips to their free tapas was unbelievable if you've been in Spain for a while. And when you order a meal, it comes with a bunch of chips, so there's no need to spend extra to add chips to the free tapas. In addition, the seasoning level of the main dish recommended by the waiter is very poor. The lamb shank and oxtail are very dry, and the inside of the lamb shank has no taste. The recommended dishes are all like this, let alone other dishes. The waiter looked indifferent and seemed to owe him money. A restaurant full of bad service and food that I will definitely not be...

Best food, wine and sherry in Granada ! We went there twice for lunch during our 3 nights stay in Granada We went there for a late lunch after a long walk down from Alhambra. Had the most helpful waiter, who recommended the artichoke and roast leg of a bay lamb. It was so simple and yet deliciously roasted that it melted in our mouths. Saw the fridge at the entrance to age the entrecote, T-bone steak, erc...went back the next day for a good old cow entrecote, grilled to perfection and it was one of the most delicious steaks that we ever had ! The best value place to go to in Granada, best service, friendly, helpful and honest. Food was freshly cooked to perfection. And for lunch, there is a free tapa for every drink ordered. There is no better place to keep drinking, be merry and enjoy the best home-cooked delicious simple food. Thank You for the warm service, excellent food and...

All I can say is this food was INCREDIBLE!! We came in seeking a good wine and cheese with Jamon plate... sat next to the kitchen and kept seeing the food and the spirit of the entire staff and ended up staying all Christmas evening without making it to our destination restaurant 🙂 ❤️ So good!! The oxtail.. the Rabo de Torro.. was the best ever!!!! The natural home fries insanity!!! The tapa with drink to start was a meatball with tomato sauce that we thought we were in Italy not Spain! The wines 🍷 outstanding...the best was the spirit ❤️ of every person on the team in this restaurant..professionals, teammates, serious yet playful.. true artists! We are coming back! Thank God we live in Spain so we can return! Feliz Navidad to all at LA Botilleria for the experience. 🎄
