This place has very Arabic looking interior. However the place has a bit of lack of lighting. But okay this does add a bit of a old tea place vibe. The tea menu is extensive and it seems like all teas are great. I would like to try other teas as well. We tried the Andalusian teas - 1001 nights tea and albaicin tea. Both were amazing and served in very cute Arabic styled kettles. We ordered two small sweets with it and they were very delicious.

The only negative point for me was that we chose a table next to the window on upper floor. However the waitress came to us and said that no this table is for groups and as you are two people you should sit at smaller table. However after moving us from there, no one occupied the corner table for an hour. So what was the point...

PLACE WITH PERFECT AMBIANCE AND TEAS

Hidden in a secluded spot of the old part of Granada lies this gem. Even though it’s not too big, the place is gorgeous and full of light. Arabic decoration on the walls makes a specific mood. After a long walk, this is a perfect spot to rest and enjoy a fresh beverage. I was here at the end of December, and the place was not crowded at all. They have a large selection of all kind of teas, shisha and some deserts. I tried black tea with different spices and it was delicious. Moreover, the serving of tea was adorable! Waiter was friendly and spoke English. Because we needed to charge our phones, he showed us where sockets are and let us use them. I highly...

My wife and I visited Spain for the first time and we spent one afternoon touring the Alhambra. Afterwards, we ventured into Granada to get a feel for the city. We stumbled upon La Oriental and decided to sit down for some tea and a crepe. The owner is so friendly, helpful, and patient. The teas and crepe were phenomenal — I ordered the spiced Alhambra tea and my wife got the Pakistani tea with milk. It’s served piping hot in beautiful tea kettles and nice little glass cups. We also ordered the Malibú crepe... it’s chocolate with bananas and whipped cream. The cost was reasonable, the speed of service was very quick, and the ambiance was comfortable. We would absolutely...

We wanted a table next to the window, but the waitress moved us arguing more customers could come to fit that table better. So we had to move. No one came and the place still had more tables empty, that was not nice. She didnt even make an effort to speak english. After serving, we didnt see her again, we had to go downstairs and ask for the bill ourselves and pay there. The tea was nice and the sweets too, especially the Briwat, highly recommend. It was super fresh. Overall the place was ok, but other Tea Shops have the same products, so the only differentiator would be the customer attention.
