Umami sushi experience — Restaurant in Granada

We loved eating at umami sushi experience last night. We started the evening with a nice touch, a piece of fried Maki roll, then ordered the Umami Ceviche (out of this world with a perfect balance of flavors), two amazing Pisco based Cocktail (with a preference for the Shuzi Pisco), a half plate of their uramaki special roll and a 20 piece plate Moriwake (comes with 4 gyozas).

Every bite was phenomenal, and you can taste the quality! Crazy to learn they opened only 3 weeks ago.

We did not have a reservation but presented ourselves at beginning of service and got a table for 2. Don't do like us and get a reservation to make sure you get a seat. People coming in after us did not get our luck.

This is more of a fusion restaurant. We initially thought this was going to be a more traditional Japanese restaurant but in fact it was Japanese Peruvian.

Flavour profiles were great. Perfect if you crave for something other than Jamón in Granada.

Service was good, our waiter walked us through the menu and made some helpful recommendations. We did over order but our eyes were hungrier than our stomachs. A common issue when ordering sushi!

We came here expecting some decent sushi given the prices and despite our reservation it took 20 minutes to get us seated and additional 10 minutes to get our drinks. Despite that it took 30 more mins to place our order. Additionally, each individual dish took around 10 mins to get to our table and arrived one by one. So the meal was an excruciating 2 hours.
