We ate here in the afternoon on a Monday, it wasn't busy with only one other group of people eating. The service was very good and friendly. The food was tasty and came quickly. The menu is multilingual and clear. Our nine month old had the tuna, tomato spaghetti which he loved. My partner had the bacalao with honey and I had the squid ink spaghetti with grouper fillet which is pretty good. The setting is out of the wind with a good view, all in all good. All the deserts had milk in them which was disappointing for me, so we skipped.
Update after owner response: The score was awarded based on the comparison of restaurants I have visited. The waitress pointed out what wasn't available for desert and didn't offer a non dairy option. To be honest, that didn't really affect the score significantly. 3 out of 5 is fair and not meant to be punitive just honest. I'm sorry you seem to feel hard done by judging by the tone of your reply. Why bother to reply then, I simply explained my experience and awarded a score? I hope you continue to do well and in future respond to constructive criticism by making improvements unless you already think you are perfect, in which case great, well done. I was going to return to try the paella...
Read moreIt seems like the quality of food here heavily depends on who’s in charge of the kitchen.
There’s really no other way to explain why people leave positive reviews of this restaurant. I believe there was another person cooking at the days of those visits, and everything was fine. So you might probably get lucky when visiting this place on some specific days, and have a nice meal eventually.
The food we ordered today was terrible, and I’m the kind of person who’s always okay with a so-so meal. I swear, I can make a way better soup, pasta, or prawns just by following any random cooking tutorial.
Extremely salty soup, like they used ocean water for it. Tiniest gum-like prawn pieces placed on top of a sliced potato.
And pasta was an absolute joke - a bowl of boiled spaghetti with 4 shrimps on top.
The waiter was a nice guy, but who gives a care about it if food is that terrible?! It’s the first negative food review I leave in my life!
To whoever cooked this food today: please learn how cooking works if you want...
Read moreWe wanted to eat near the see. In the internet that restaurant looked a bit more posh than the others in that row. Well it is not posh. In opposite to the other restaurants they have no direct access to the see, just windows. However they were so dirty, that it was irritating looking through them.
The food was good, but not spectacular. One other reason we went there was to have spaghetti with lobster. We heard that night, that this needs at least a day notice. Good that they have not mentioned it elsewhere :-(
Anyway, the stuff was very friendly. Even they have the menu in many languages, Spanish is good to know, a little English...
