I was very disappointed. This bar is very aesthetic and nice to look at. However the service is terrible to say the least. We were waiting almost 1 hour for our food. The waiter clearly had no clue what he was doing and kept bringing us food items that we simply had not ordered . He also did not know which tables had ordered what food and was bringing us items that other people had ordered. It. was not only us that experienced this but also the table next to us, they ordered Nutella pancakes and instead were given a Nutella croissant. In addition when we were finally served our food, we were not even offered and condements. We were just given two sets of knives and forks and that was it. We will definitely not be returning. Eat here periodically as I'm resident in the village. Normally very good but yesterday evening front of house service was abysmal. Two girl waitresses appeared to spend the evening chatting. I had a very good burger but my food (and probably others) was in danger of being spoiled because as it was prepared and presented by the chef, the waitresses consistently walked past the dishes. I could see the chef frustration. When my burger was eaten the dirty dishes were not cleared away at all. After 28 minutes I took them to the kitchen myself and gave them to chef.

Lovely pastry but let down by the espresso. Rather like being in England where the focus is on single origin, lightly roasted beans the result is a sour extraction and too thin. Upon complaint, I was first told that everyone's coffee was the same (so why was I the only one complaining? being the implication). I was offered, and accepted, a replacement (I hadn't finished the first one) but was charged for two coffees. The second coffee was better, and there were some delicious flavours, but I miss the umami and don't take to the sourness. In my opinion espresso is best made with beans roasted and blended for the purpose (probably...
