I love this place. We found it purely by chance n ended up visiting every day after that. Kinda hard to describe as a brit, probly easy for spaniards to explain, lol. yes it's a cafe. but they sell whole spitroast chicken amongst other stuff.
there's sandwiches, both hot and cold. cakes n pastries. Beer n spirits, tea n coffee. if i rember correctly theres wines too.
The staff are great, friendly n understanding of how cr@p at languages most brit tourists are n they dont laugh when you try to order in spanish, which was nice of em, lol. the food we had tasted great. prices are easy on the pocket, possibly cos it's not a tourist trap, which was another thing i loved about it.
IF you're on TF1 heading north out of los cristianos or further south/west n you have spare time it truly is worth pulling off n heading into Abrigos, there's plenty of parking, but not too many empty spaces. in a way im lucky to have a blue badge n theres a slot just down the side street that we used regularly.

Also the quality of the food changes drastically depending on who is in the kitchen, I'm ordering the same sandwich every time and sometimes it comes out full of salad and ingredients and sometimes it's a sad dry bun. Also the prices change all the time. For the same coffee i paid between 1,20€-1,70€ and I was okay with it but after getting screamed at, not so much anymore. Maybe you...
Read moreI don't use the phrase holy moly lightly but my god.....HOLY MOLY. If I had 10 cents for every time I saw a friendly face indulging in a slice of cafe culture, honestly, I'd be a rich man. If you like a small older gentleman who has the nerve to not swerve any request you have, then I believe this may well be the place for you. The word attentive doesn't cut it by half. Locals and tourists coming together to just make memories. Food, drink and an atmosphere that, however hard I try, I can't quite find the words to do justice. Please, just give it a go. I know as a matter of fact that whoever you are you'll feel what I felt....
