Can Pou Bar — Restaurant in Ibiza

The cutest little spot for breakfast. Headed to old town and had a walk around the port, saw this place was pretty busy, we were seated and ordered toast and ham and toast and jam, cappuccino and juice. Food was delicious and enjoyed the drinks, do believe a larger cup for the coffee would be better! Love a large cup first thing not one you struggle to pick up and I have small hands! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our server had superb English so there was no lost in translation moments, we enjoyed it especially so as this little bird appeared on our table. Traditional Tapas. Great for lunch, dinner or late night Tapas. We arrived at 11pm and the restaurant was quite full but we were seated immediately. Service was fast. We ordered a porn star martini and tinto de varano to start and then patatas bravas and ham croquettes. Tapas was served quickly and warm but not too hot to eat. Perfect size and enough for that time of night. We sat outside by the sidewalk, which is a closed off road and watched people shopping and walking by, watched dogs and the marina. Mein letzter Besuch im Can Pou war leider alles andere als erfreulich. Obwohl das Ambiente auf den ersten Blick einladend wirkte, wurde der Gesamteindruck durch den Service stark getrübt.

Zu Beginn bestellten wir Kaffee. Zu unserer Überraschung wurde uns dieser nicht nur einmal falsch gebracht , sondern zweimal – offenbar hatte das Personal unsere Bestellung nicht richtig aufgenommen. Während es normalerweise kein Problem wäre, Fehler passieren schließlich überall, fiel jedoch auf, dass die Bedienung weder entschuldigend noch hilfsbereit auf unsere Hinweise reagierte.

Was diesen Besuch allerdings wirklich unangenehm machte, war das Verhalten des Personals. Während wir warteten, bemerkten wir, dass einige Angestellte in der Nähe tuschelten und immer wieder zu uns herüberschauten.
