I recently visited the restaurant with high hopes of reliving the enchantment and excitement that had made it a favorite spot of mine in the past. However, to my dismay, the experience fell far short of my expectations. It is with a heavy heart that I must share my disappointment with the significant changes I observed.
One of the most notable aspects that have declined since my last visit is the entertainment factor. This establishment was renowned for its outstanding host of shows and captivating performances. Regrettably, the current state of affairs is disappointingly average in comparison. The previous charm and unique ambiance that once accompanied the dining experience seem to have faded away.
Moreover, the atmosphere no longer exudes the same magic it once did. Gone are the days of stepping into a haven of luxury and elegance. Instead, the new environment feels lackluster, lacking the attention to detail and sophistication that used to make it so special. It's disheartening to witness the decline in the restaurant's overall ambiance.
Adding to my disappointment was the demeanor of the staff. In the past, I was accustomed to encountering friendly and attentive employees who made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. This time, however, the superior staff members were surprisingly unfriendly. Even the lady at the door managed to create an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
To make matters worse, the clientele seemed to have undergone a significant shift. The once impeccably dressed and sophisticated crowd has been replaced by a less refined and poorly dressed group of guests. This unfortunate change has left the restaurant feeling like a gathering place for individuals with no discerning taste or appreciation for finer things.
Overall, my recent experience at the restaurant was profoundly disappointing. The decline in the quality of entertainment, the lackluster environment, and the unfriendly staff all contributed to a diminished dining experience. It appears that the restaurant has undergone a transformation that caters more to the nouveau riche, forsaking the charm and allure that once made it exceptional. It is my hope that the establishment can find its way back to its former glory, recapturing the magic that made it such a captivating...
Read moreYes, yes, yes! This place is a must when in Ibiza. Usually for places like this, there's a compromise between good food and good entertainment. This was not the case, whatsoever, with Lío. The food was absolutely delicious and the entertainment was amazing. All of this obviously comes at a cost. Our minimum was £270 per person. We still had a few hundred to spend, so about half of us ordered dessert and/or drinks.
The restaurant sits on the water, so you get a beautiful view of the marina, yachts, and ocean. Theres beautiful decor and many photo ops, including in their spacious bathroom.
For dinner, I ordered a basic salmon sushi roll for starters. I can't remember the name, but I've included a picture. For the entree, Scallops & Caviar with asparagus and menuiere sauce. It was so delicious! My only complaint is that I could've had more. Dessert was an Apricot & Mango sorbet topped with some sort of crust. It was tart, sweet and perfect for my palate. Be forewarned that if you order the lobster with "potato spirals" they mean potato chips. There were a couple of confused looks on our group's faces when their food came out lol.
For drinks, I can't remember the name of the first (their menu is hard to find online), but I liked it. It was topped with egg white and was also tart and bitter. I also had my first espresso martini there and have joined the fan club. I believe they added Kahlua because it was sweet.
The wait staff was excellent. Be warned that it is a busy event, so they may not be as attentive, but they were great nonetheless.
The show was amazing! The performers and the engagement with the crowd truly made this an experience to remember. I was there with a large party (15) and reserved one of the sections at the top. Because of this, we were asked to participate in the show every time "Mama Say, Mama Sa" played. A group of their dancers came and taught us a dance, before our food arrived, and asked us to perform it. We loved it! We stood up each time and put on our own...

I don’t know if people who write reviews that the “show was amazing” have ever been to a show dinner before in their life… this sad little place with their average performance, which we couldn’t even properly see, since our table was blocked by other tables and people, didn’t leave any of us nor impressed nor amused. Too much singing, not enough special skills or anything special. If you expect 300€ spending per person for a show dinner, how can you be so ignorant as to arrange the tables where some people can’t even see the show?
The food was disappointing for the price, the cheapest bottle of wine is 130€ or something like that. The waitress was unprofessional and obnoxious, she kept pushing the food and drink on us, though we would say 10 times “we’re good”, we will call you later. Just shuuuushh and let us be. You have our credit card information and we know that we will have to cover the minimum spending so WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US? To annoy us to death and ruin our evening by trying to sell to us every 5 minutes? You achieved it.
The show was so boring that we just kept going to the smoking area, taking pictures of the view and talking to people, which all that were a bit more international, were also disappointed by the show.
Our group that lives in London, Dubai and Zurich sees better on a regular Friday night and if you introduce a minimum spending on people, so we can’t just stand up and leave - make sure YOU DELIVER. Make sure people CAN SEE YOUR SHOW and aren’t blocked and that you don’t look for waitresses in Romanian slot machines bar as it’s the only suitable venue we could’ve thought of where she...
