RUDE WAITERS.
⚠️SPOILER : You don’t have to be in the philosophy business to appreciate and learn from this story. Yesterday at Cappuccino Marina Ibiza, the bad customer service experience tainted.
✅THE GOOD NEWS : is that this event created a learning opportunity.
I am not used to put reviews but its not the first time this happened to me at Cappuccino Marina Ibiza, so I feel like I should warn people.

There, any philosophy in congruence with the place or the mindset of the Cappucino Group was inculcated to its workers.
We arrived at 11PM when the place is supposed to close at 1AM, seeking for dessert and last drinks . Kitchen was close (understandable) but not even dessert that was exposed just in the entry.
After 20 minutes sitting there waiting for someone to attend us a waiter approach us and take us command telling us they were about to close the bar soon so we had to order imperatively (11:20 PM). Some friends where supposed to join us because it was apparently closing at 1AM, we ordered. 11:35 PM, same waiter come back telling we have to order our last drinks because they are closing soon. At this point no one warned us neither the time they were closing or how much time we had left to order just that they were fumigating tonight so they wanted us to be “quick”. Which they could have told us in the reception before sitting us HALF HOUR BEFORE.
Long story short, i ordered drinks from my friends, 3 gin tonics, all with a great lack of manners coming from the waiter attending us.
At midnight another waitress (female) that did not even salutate us came to annonce : WE ARE CLOSED. My friends were just arriving, our drinks were full they threw the bill on the table, not even a “sorry” from the waiter cashing us in.
We told them to wait until my friends could come. They refused we paid the first bill and ask for my friend’s one 5 additional minutes as they were kicking us out without any scrupules. They let us 2 minutes, with a really impatient tone.
My friends joined at 12:08 AM before they could sit the waiter asked them to pay the bill before saying hello.
WHO is fumigating on a saturday night in summer in IBIZA? and if so, the least to do is to say sorry which was said only at the end by another waiter. And warn your clients about your time constraints: WE ARE NOT ANIMALS.
Appart from this really shady and rude encounter, the place and views are stunning, perfect before going to lio or for an afternoon coffee, the drinks and food are nice (caesar salad and gnocchis are amazing). But get ready to wait, be ignored and experience a bad customer service.
Heartbreaking because none of the place nor the group...
Read moreI always look forward to my visits to Cappuccino, as a Resident I have been going there since it opened here in Ibiza. I enjoy the luxury feel of the place, and it always felt a bit special. However the other day I went in there super hungry and ordered the club sandwich which I nearly aways eat when I go in there. It’s so stuffed with fillings (hard to get your mouth around it) that you always feel super full after eating it. It has always been the same over all these years.
Until the other day, it came and it was the most pathetic looking sandwich I had ever seen and the cost quite the opposite. They have increased the price from around €15/16 to €22. That price is only for the sandwich, half the filling as before and nothing on the side. The sandwich looked nothing like it has looked all these years. I mentioned to one waitress and she said it was the same as for years, she did nothing, I then said to another waitress and she was new and said she had had some complaints about portions being smaller than before, she then told ‘the director’ which came over to see me. I asked him if the club sandwich was different, again he defensively tried to tell me it was the same. I wish I had taken a photo as then I google the Cappuccino club sandwich after and found exactly what they normally look like. I wouldn’t normally write such a long review but the ‘director’ had zero customer service skills and actually ended up threatening me to keep my voice down so other customers could not hear me. I was shocked and appalled by the way he dealt with me. He blatantly told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. Why would I bother to bring this up, if it was always the same as normal.
As I have mentioned I was a regular customer. I do understand that you pay more for the views and I have never had an issue with that, but when the quality is half a as good as before yet the price way higher and you are told just to deal with it! Amongst the people I know on the island I am very vocal about which restaurants are good etc, I won’t go back to eat there again, which is a shame. And Capppuccino should really look at who they employ as their managers as this one was absolutely incompetent at his job. He spent most of the time clearing tables and giving out bills when he should have been making sure his customers were well looked after. I am a very...

After years of frequenting Cappuccino in Marina Ibiza and enjoying what used to be a five-star establishment under the previous management of José, I’m incredibly disappointed to say that those glory days are long gone.
What was once a warm and welcoming place to enjoy fantastic coffee with a beautiful view has turned into a frustrating experience with rude and arrogant staff. The moment you step in, you're met with an air of superiority that does nothing but ruin the experience. Despite the great location and decent coffee, the service has deteriorated beyond recognition.
Today was the final straw, after three previous daily visits encountering poor service. I was essentially shooed out the door by an unbelievably rude waitress, despite the café being practically empty. She literally waved me away with a hand gesture typically used to shoo away a stray dog, indicating that I and my guests should wait outside. It was embarrassing, dismissive and unprofessional, not the kind of welcome you'd expect when visiting any café, let alone one full of empty tables and chairs. This kind of behaviour is not just unprofessional, it’s unacceptable, especially in 2024 when Ibiza is already losing visitors due to inflated prices.
To the management: you’ve got a serious staff crisis on your hands, and if you don’t address it, your business will continue to suffer. I’ll be taking my custom to Calma, just steps away, where the views are just as stunning, but the service is miles better. It’s sad to see what was once a fantastic spot fall so far.
Avoid Cappuccino and head elsewhere, where plenty of places on the island are crying out for your business and will treat you with the respect...
