This restaurant already rates very high on the list of local restaurants in Corralejo but I've decided that I am also going to join the chorus on this occasion.
I visited with my family and I as expecting big things food-wise as the restaurant already had hype. However, let me tell you that they actually exceeded them!
There are a few outstanding aspects to this place. Number one is the staff and their ability to multi-task and make everyone feel welcome and individual even though the place is always packed. Yes, it is always packed and that is for good reason. The food is fan-tas-tic!
I have already been twice and I haven't visited any restaurants twice on my whole trip to Fuerteventura. I ordered the plate of pedron peppers and a massive dish arrived with what would have been at least four portions. This was followed by their fresh grilled fish which consisted of one and a half whole fish. It was cooked to perfection and the flesh just melted off. I can't fault their food at all.
We also had the sirloin steak which was far larger than the advertised weight. In all, they feed you high quality food until you burst. Great value as well (the kids' meals are 3 euros!).
I recommend this place and am wondering whether I am going to go again a third time! Three nights out of seven? They must be doing...
Read moreFriday 1st December. We arrived at about 7:30 and the place looked packed but there were a couple of tables left and so we were given a choice and sat far away from the open door. Service was prompt and friendly and we chose garlic prawns and a meat paella. My wife had a sangria and I had a large beer. The sangria was nice but a tad on the sweet syrupy side but I enjoyed my beer. The meal started with crusty bread and aioli. The garlic prawns arrived sizzling hot and although they had not been “deveined” they were very tasty. The waiter was engaging and helpful but almost lost his tip by pointing out that my wife had used the wrong cutlery to eat her starter! The paella was excellent hot, full of meat and nicely cooked vegetables and rice and we enjoyed it but it could have fed a family of four. We could not find room for a desert but the bill arrived with a cream covered shot of honey rum which was a nice end to a very good meal. While we were there there were several people queueing up outside. Although they only had to wait a few minutes it’s obvious that it is a popular place to eat. Our meal cost €34.24 which was excellent value for a delicious meal. We would certainly go there again. P.s. We did leave a tip the service...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant as part of an 18 day holiday in the islands. When we where in Fuerteventura we had booked a self catering stay in the Oasis Village Hotel which was fine and we eat out most days. On our first day we asked the hotel receptionists advice on a good local restaurant and she sent us here. All I can say is that she made the best choice for us. We had the seafood platter and for the three of us, (one child) it was huge and so fresh and absolutely delicious. We also had a starter and it was equally as delicious and huge. They also offer you some bread with this amazing herb butter and I have come home and put the ingredients straight on my shopping list as it was amazing. I honestly can't say anything bad about this restaurant, the staff where all very polite and spoke good English and the bar guy made an amazing Sangria. We eat out every day on this holiday and this is the only restaurant that has stayed in my head. Its definitely worth another visit just to eat here again. If you go anywhere in Fuerteventura go here, you won't forget the flavours, freshness of the food and the welcoming...
