Pizzeria Big Wave — Restaurant in La Oliva

First of all, the pizza is very good. Probably the best ones in corralejo.

But the service is awful, it's slow and unprofessional.. every time we've been there they seem really understaffed and the guy running the place has a bad attitude (just check out responses on some of the reviews here).. sure he is stressed but don't take it out on us.

Don't be surprised if you need to wait 15-30 minutes for them just to take your order.. they really need to figure out how they are gonna run their operation, they do take away as well and if it's a busy night the people in the restaurant will have to wait while they are pushing out take away orders..

Amazing place with friendly staff and delicious food. The pizzas start at about 7€ and the most expensive ones are like 13€ (these are the prices for the 30-32 cm size). They have your classic diavolas and four cheeses, but also some more unique options like pizza with pistachio cream or walnuts and honey. There is a proper pizza oven. The owner and main chef of this place is a real Italian. He kept telling us jokes and gave us extra melon and ice cream for dessert - we didn’t ask for it and there was no extra charge (I am convinced he would keep giving us extra food until we burst if we didn’t leave haha). i would love to give a better review cause my pizzs was really good. BUT my friend got two times served the wrong pizza before she got the one that she actually asked for. i mean.. how is this even possible? there were only the two of us and two other guests which did not even order pizza?!?!?! so how can u get that wrong?! unfortunately i finished my pizza before my friend even got hers which is not exactly what i want then i go out for dinner.
