The good : Nice view. The bad: Steak but no steak knife and not fillet as described. And why ask how I want it cooked then serve it on a sizzling platter so the steak kept cooking . Seabass with bones and swimming in a bright yellow sauce that tasted of god only knows. We mentioned the bones when our plates were collected the waiter basically made a joke smiled and walked off Beer in a warm glass. Moules marinière came with a thick glossy tomato sauce!!! Maybe I read the menu wrong. Tempura fish selection soggy batter which was definitely not tempura. Pepper sauce that tasted like curry sauce and I suspect from a packet. Service awfully lacking in any form of helpfulness especially from the man who took our order Don't use the toilet , toilet roll falling out of the bin . Flush button missing and the toilet brush should be removed and incinerated with immediate effect. If food and hygiene payed a visit this place would be closed down . Altogether one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had ,and paid £89 for the privilege.Just don't eat at this get them in get them out take the money and run restaurant.Ok I know not to expect fine dining but please just a basic level of service, cleanliness and food quality is the least to...

The whole experience was awesome from the moment we looked at the menu outside to the moment we stood up from our chairs. As soon as we stopped to look at the menu a guy approached us and explained the offers in fluent english, he was very pleasant and friendly, not anoying at all. We were a group of 5. We ordered drinks and they came right away and the food came in about 30min, maybe a bit less. The portion was fairly large. Other waiters were very polite too and also talked in english, even knew a few words of our language (croatian). The food was delicious, drinks were not extremely small as they often are(coke was 330ml). They are very polite and offer help with anything. They took photos of us on demand. A person by the table next to us had a birthday, they played a happy birthday song and clapped, she got a cake with sprinklers :D awesome. At the end of our meal the waiter brought each of us a drink on the house and a lolipop :P it is a bit busy on the outer part of the terrace because people pass by, but it is not a problem. The view...

We recently celebrated a 60th birthday at this stunning beachfront restaurant, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family — not just guests. The team went above and beyond in every way, making the occasion feel truly special and personal.

The setting is absolutely perfect, right on the beach with breathtaking views that made the day even more memorable. The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and passion.

What truly stood out, though, was the service. It was, hands down, the best we’ve ever experienced. Warm, genuine, attentive — the staff treated us as though they’d known us for years. It wasn’t just service; it was service in it's truest form.

If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal in a beautiful setting, we couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you for making the 60th birthday celebration so unforgettable — we’ll be talking about it for...

We had visited this restaurant twice in our time in the resort and we found the selection and quality of the food excellent on both occasions. The first time we went, we decided to share 2 x Large Paellas between 5 of us, which was plenty with the addition of garlic bread each. The second time, tonight, we all had different dishes; King Prawns for one, Mixed Fried Seafood for another, Barracuda (special) for another, then 2 x Swordfish. For dessert, there was a selection of ice creams, tarts, Tiramasu and cakes to try. There is nothing like eating exquisite food right beside where it was caught on the seafront and, especially when the lights go down, the ambiance of the restaurant was something not to be missed either. Both times the meals were ended with shots of Honey Rum on the house with a little added waiter-entertainment whilst they poured these. For fresh seafood of this quality, it was excellent value for money. A well-recommended restaurant to eat at!!!

I had a really great meal at La playita . I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese, and it was absolutely excellent — full of flavor and served in a generous portion. I also tried the four cheese pasta, which was very tasty as well, although the pasta was slightly overcooked. The location is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle — between the sea, the port, and the busy promenade filled with people walking by. It's a bit noisy, but it fits the lively, playful vibe of the city. Prices are on the higher side, especially considering that you can find similar meals for much less elsewhere, but the portions are abundant, so it feels somewhat justified. The staff is nothing exceptional in terms of friendliness — they’re pretty average and straightforward, not particularly warm but not rude either
