It was our first stop over right after landing in Tenerife! The son was amazing in serving us. The food was fantastic. The rabbit and the chicken were the favorites. Perfect combination for those who are adventurous and for those who wants something familiar. My dad said it was the best rabbit he ever had and was delighted because he loves rabbit and has not found a good place to have it until we ate here! It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Una experiencia fabulosa!!! Honestly this restaurant blew us away. Super unassuming and humble, yet the food is absolutely delicious! We had mero fish and pork elbow which was melting! This is a family business and the pride and joy they have in it shines through. The service was impeccable, super friendly and sweet. I also loved the environment with all the adjoining rooms, very cosy and authentic. Muchas gracias por todo, chicos!

We had the rabbit, chicken, and cod dishes, and they were absolutely delicious. The rabbit was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the chicken was so flavorful. The cod was incredibly fresh and flaky. Aside from the amazing food, the service was top-notch and fun. Father and son made sure that we were comfortable and happy throughout the entire meal.

Highly recommended! True family-run, home-style, local cooking. Mom and Grandmother are In the kitchen, son does a great job of serving the guests and father runs the show. Excellent food! I’m told Grandmother made the delicious Rabbit I enjoyed and mom made the light and creamy, crustless cheesecake. So glad I happened into this establishment.

Cada vez que vengo a tenerife busco Guachinches y este en teoría no lo es, pero estábamos dando unas vueltas por la orotava y de los lugares cercanos, tenía buena pinta. Llegamos antes de la 1:30 y solo había una mesa con comensales, pero 15 minutos después ya no había ni una libre. Lo primero que debo decir es que Fernando, se lleva el mérito de toda la comida, un chico súper majo, encantador, amable, gracioso, de 10! Nos recomendó el queso que a él mas le gustaba y ha sido el mejor queso asado con mojo que me he comido en toda la isla, pedazo generoso y los lobos estaban deliciosos, tanto que le pedí para comprar pero me dijo que no lo vendían, realmente bueno el mojo rojo. De comer pedimos el bacalao en salsa, porción generosa, la salsa un poco fuerte de sabor a cebolla y pimentón y papas arrugadas ( qué ponerle pegas al plato, era lo único que no estaba bueno, no se sentían frescas). También pedimos un codillo, que estaba bastante bien. El queso, el bacalao, el codillo, 1 coca cola y 1 agua 40€. Me pareció correcto.

A real hidden gem! Such delicious home cooked food, we dined like kings. The staff is super friendly and accommodating as well as English speaking, and the menu so full of fantastic options it was difficult to choose. The ribs with corn and potatoes were amazing, as was the chickpea stew and the beer marinated chicken!
