Il Raviolo — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Amazing! This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to (not only in Gran Canaria, anywhere in the world, including Italy). We went here twice during our holiday, and we would have gone more if we stayed longer in Las Palmas. They are passionate about the food and ingredients, and you can taste it. You can sense that they are going for maximum effort, sometimes at the cost of profitability (unlike some tourist traps in the south...). Hence, the pasta and vegetables taste fresh and full of flavors. No compromises. We are vegetarian and while there are already plenty of options on the menu, they explained everything and offered us alternatives for non-vegetarian dishes. Top service! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu really: ravioli, focaccia, and the pistachio cheesecake... 🤤. Honestly the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The salmon lasagna was insane and the tiramisu ended up being my favourite dessert. We loved it so much we actually went back the next day. The service was amazing too, the guy from Bologna was super friendly and welcoming but still professional, which made the whole experience even better. The place is lucky to have him!
