What a wonderful ending of my vacation In Spain.

First of all: Interesting cozy and comfortable interior. Bartenders that interact with the clients at such level that it feels personal, makes you want to begin friendship with them (Hello, dear Ana and Anas!). I didn't have dinner there and ordered only meat carpaccio which, turned out, was a great choice. Expensive but damn good deer(yes, deer!) meat option was so rich and, hmm, meaty, it was far better than most Iberian jamon I've tried in two weeks of my stay in Portugal/Spain. It was great to pair with a more heavy and full bodied beer and whisk(e)ys

The place itself is nice, the woman serving behind the bar was great but OMG, the bill... Seriously?

We sat at the bar and ordered, so didn't look at a drinks menu, but to price beer at this level there should be some kind of warning, even if it is a "premium product".

One of these beers, I've no idea which from the strange descriptions on the bill, wasn't even the IPA I wanted but some poor substitute which I wouldn't have had if I'd known it was going to be €13 or €15!

And then we got given some weird Russian chocolates as we left, thought it was a cute touch until realising what they were.

Strange, one...

I found another wonderful place to pass a few hours in Málaga. If you want to take a break from the crouds of people in the city center, this restaurant, with a full service bar, has a great menu, including traditional plates from the Spanish culinary tradition, as well a curated menu of dishes from around the world. Comfort food with a gormet twist. Our server, Cire, was attentive and friendly. Our food arrived promptly and was clearly prepared with care and attention to the little details that really made this a wonderful experience....

It was great to pair with a more heavy and full bodied beer and whisk(e)ys <--- of which they have surprisingly plenty of options. I later found out that the theme of this great establishment was heavily inspired by Scotland, hence the broad list of scottish whiskeys, as well as Irish, american and japanese whisk(e)ys amongst other interesting drinks for people with any preferences. Did I mention prices? :) Most of great Scottish stuff is very reasonably priced! And even cheap options include a couple of a good quality drams! For those who want to quickly explore the world of Scottish whisky try this: have a glass of J&B 15years, then Macallan 12 followed by Talisker, and end it with Laphroaig 10 (for those who seek extreme experience) or Bruichladdich Port Charlotte (for a bit softer approach to what top level of whiskeys can offer :) ) The cherry on top: At the end I met the owners of this establishment and they are simply put awesome people. Incredibly interesting, educated, welcoming and caring couple with whom I had great honor and pleasure to chat for a bit. Thank you all for a wonderful evening that seamlessly turned into deep night (haha!) celebration of my last day in charming city of Malaga!
