We had a disappointing experience here, especially as visitors from the U.S. who are used to a different standard of service and hydration.

The food was okay—not bad, but nothing exceptional. However, the service and attitude from the staff were unwelcoming. There were three of us, and we ordered three different dishes and beer. Since we typically drink a lot of water, we were sipping from our own water. This seemed to trigger a surprisingly hostile reaction from the staff (one of whom may have been named Tony), who approached us loudly, accusing us of not ordering anything and saying this is a restaurant, not a place to just sit.

We tried to explain in English and some Spanish that we had, in fact, ordered food and drinks, but the confrontation was uncomfortable and unnecessary. Eventually, they backed off and served us our food, but the negative energy lingered, and we were eager to leave.

I understand cultural differences around things like drinking tap water or bringing your own, but the aggressive attitude was really off-putting. It’s unfortunate that something as simple as staying hydrated could lead to such a tense situation. Would not recommend this place, especially for international visitors who value a friendly atmosphere.

Beware... We were enjoying our meal when my vegetarian girlfriend found 2 pieces of ham hidden in her pizza which was specifically ordered without ham. The waiter was very kind about the situation, but the owner came over and began shouting at us about extorting him because we were not going to pay for the pizza which was made wrongly by him personally. After being shouted at for minutes, insulted and made very uncomfortable, we were charged for the pizza. I would recommend staying away purely because of his disregard for customers and way of handling an honest mistake on his part.

Update: The owner tried contacting me on Messenger the following day accusing me of lying, harrassing me, and threatening to sue me for defamation. Perhaps my previous review did not make it clear: about 2/3 of the pizza was eaten until the ham was found (at which she obviously stopped eating it), but given my girlfriend (vegeterian) had specifically ordered it to be without ham, we felt that the pizza we received was wrong. Regardless of how much of the pizza was eaten, when such a complaint is rightfully made, it should not be met with hostility, threats and...

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a pizza specificly without meat, but after eating 2/3 of it, I found two pieces of ham hidden on it. I immeditley sent it back to the kitchen, the owner exploded at me and my boyfriend, accusing us of just trying to save money, it would be our own fault cause we didn't mention I was vegetarian, and saying it wasn’t a big deal that there was meat on a vegetarian pizza "the pizza isn't ruined because of two pieces of meat". He yelled at us for several minutes, came uncomfortably close to my boyfriend’s face, and still demanded we pay half the price for the pizza. The whole experience was incredibly disrespectful and ruined our night. To top it off, the owner later threatened my boyfriend via facebook Messenger, saying he would report him to the police unless he deleted his review, which he left on google. Even the staff apologized, but the owner’s behavior was outrageous. In the comments he is lying about me eating the whole pizza, even tho he himself sent us a picture of the pizza I sent to the kitchen and did not finish after finding the meat on it.
