🇬🇧 Review in English We chose this Italian restaurant so the kids could eat well, but the experience was very disappointing. • The menu and what was actually available were two different things. • The pizza dough was undercooked and lukewarm. • Starters were spicy without any warning. • We were given scissors to “cut the pizza Italian-style”… but only one blunt pair for two pizzas. In Italy, pizzas are hot, generous, and served with scissors that actually cut. Here, it was the opposite. • No manager present in mid-August, during peak season.

When I shared my honest feedback, the waitress looked surprised but didn’t apologize. 👉 Italian cuisine should mean flavor and generosity. Here, it was the opposite. My advice: rethink the whole concept, hire a real chef, and add a proper kids’ menu. As it stands, I do not recommend.

En Italia, las pizzas son calientes, generosas y con tijeras que cortan de verdad. Aquí fue lo contrario. • Ningún encargado presente en pleno agosto, en temporada alta.

Cuando compartí mi opinión sincera, la camarera se mostró sorprendida y no pidió disculpas. 👉 La cocina italiana debería significar sabor y generosidad. Aquí fue lo contrario. Mi consejo: replantear todo el concepto, contratar un verdadero chef y añadir un menú infantil atractivo. Tal como está, no lo recomiendo.

🇫🇷 Avis en français Nous avons choisi cet italien pour que les enfants puissent bien manger, mais l’expérience a été très décevante. • La carte et les plats disponibles ne correspondaient pas. • La pâte à pizza était pâteuse et tiède. • Les entrées étaient piquantes sans aucune mention. • On nous a donné des ciseaux pour « couper à l’italienne »… mais un seul, émoussé, pour deux pizzas. En Italie, les pizzas sont servies chaudes, généreuses et avec des ciseaux qui coupent vraiment. Ici, tout l’inverse. • Aucun manager présent en plein mois d’août.

Quand j’ai partagé mon avis, la serveuse a semblé surprise mais ne s’est pas excusée. 👉 L’Italie, c’est saveur et générosité. Ici, c’était le contraire. Mon conseil : revoir tout le concept, embaucher un vrai chef et penser à un menu enfant attractif. En l’état, je ne...

Visited this place yesterday before we had to catch our flight back to London. Didn’t know what to expect as I’m not such a big fan of Italian food but we were hungry. The complimentary crackers with pesto were delicious, the pesto tasted so fresh and nothing like the shop bought ones. I highly recommend everything we ate which was the leek burrata, the penne gratinate al pomodoro spianata, piccante e pesto (not halal but they told us they can take out the meat for us so very accommodating) and the real star of the show which was the vegetarian focaccia. We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. As we don’t eat pork or consume anything with alcohol, we made that very clear when ordering. Despite this, our first pizza came with pork. We informed the waitress, and while she did replace it, the second pizza arrived burnt and was barely edible.

On top of that, the service was unpleasant — the waitress seemed annoyed with us from the start and made us feel very unwelcome. Her attitude and facial expressions were unfriendly throughout our visit.
