A hidden gem amongst Costa Del Sol. Although our server (an older slight gentleman) didn't speak much English, our service was fantastic. As we were enjoying our Cava we accompanied it by ordering the Prawn Cocktail, the Jamon y Melon for appetizers and the Pork Paella for dinner. The portions were quite large and the prawn cocktail was fantastic. As most Americans would assume that the prawns came with cocktail sauce this came with a mix of more prawns and fruits and vegetables. We couldn't stop eating it. The Jamon y melon similar to the classic Italian dish was fresh and light. THE PAELLA!!! Well, I'll be having dreams about this dish for awhile. It was the best we have had since getting to Spain. After that we topped it with cappuccinos and flan with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was super yummy and the Flan was creamy and worth going back for seconds. Although we stayed there quite late, our server let us take our time and let us enjoy ourselves and even gave us a small taste of an amazing aperitif. I can't emphasize enough how fantastic and attentive the server was, to us... making it one of the best experiences for our trip visiting Málaga. I highly recommend people who are looking for a taste of true Màlaga to extend their foot path a bit further to experience...
Read moreThis was the most incredible dining experience I’ve ever experienced. Ricardo and the musician (who I wish we had gotten the name of) were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We sat down and immediately were greeted with warm hospitality. The food was incredible and had great portions. I recommend the sangria :) it was strong and delicious. We shared the tuna and grilled shrimp which were also delicious. Every person who walked in while we were there were greeted like family and it was clear this place was a gem in the community. The service was better than we could have ever expected and by the end of the night we were dancing with the staff and all laughing together. Thank you to El Restaurante de Sancha for the one of the most influential and loving nights we’ve ever had. If I could give this place more...
Read moreThis place is incredible, I suggest you visit and experience it yourself. We had the best authentic paella here and after our first visit, we had to come back again! The place may appear simple at first glance but in reality is quite special! Ricardo's menu suggestions helped us understand Spanish cuisine as we were visiting from the United States. I recommend the Paella, Fideua, and Pescadilla Plancha, their other dishes are awesome too. One of their appetizers, Prawns Pil Pil was bursting with flavor! Tip: I recommend you salt your dishes to taste as in Spain they use less salt. Their desserts are super yummy!
Lastly, Ricardo was wonderful, so hospitable and so is Antonio. They make you feel at home and we loved cracking jokes with them. We know that we have friends and great cuisine here at Restaurante de Sancha's when we...
