Nice Chiringuito not far from the city center(20-25 min walk) located steps from the beach. I didn't have a reservation, but they were kind enough to seat me just after opening. Unfortunately I missed espetos season by a couple of weeks so I didn't bother ordering any, instead I ordered some pimientos asados and a plate of crispy ,non greasy puntillitas all washed down by an ice cold beer. Food was great, service fast and friendly and the view was pretty cool :) Reservations are recommended if you're planning on eating at "Spanish time" , otherwise you might be able to get a walk in.

English: We wanted to try out a "chiringuito," and we noticed that this one was highly rated on Google Maps. Despite it being a Sunday after 2 p.m., the queue wasn't too long. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes outside to get a table. We ordered a portion of "Caña de sardinas," as it's a typical local dish, and it was quite salty but acceptable. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the "Calamar al fuego" at all. We aren't sure how it should taste, but it was very bitter due to the extra virgin olive oil, which overpowered the taste with its bitterness. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how good the "fritura malagueña" was; it was very fresh and tender, excellent. It was one of the best seafood fries I've ever had. I would recommend trying the "fritura malagueña," and I would definitely return just for that dish.

We wanted to try the establishment after a lounge on the beach. There were two sunbeds which we wanted to use and were told point blank no. “fully booked” even though we could see 4 that were packed up and ready to be hired out. Very rude staff and as we walked away we saw them being given to someone else, im not going to play the racism card but get help but wonder as to why we were refused. On this experience I would not recommend to anyone who as a slighty darker shade than the locals. Shame as til now my experience of Malaga and the establishments has been really great.

Best meal we had in Spain!! We went for lunch around 2:30 pm. There was a little wait time and we waited for about 10 minutes to get a table. Our server was so helpful and he recommended the sea base fish. We were going to order more (wanted to try squid as well) but he said it will be too much food. We got fish cooked by the fire. Sardine and sea-base. We also got fried eggplant which was delicious. Everything was very fresh and delicious food and the table are by the water. Highly recommend it.

The place was fine, food also but we ordered just snack and beer and it was 31Euros. Be prepared-each time waiter is coming to your table it is payed, also beer which is charge as 0.5l is 0.4l and they poor bottle of water to your glass to prove it.So if carefully they will put beer to your glass until it spring out from your glass, then it is real...I do not have anything against racing prices a bit ,but the way they try to cheat on in business is just unfair.

This place is very nice if you want to enjoy the sun and beach with good sea food. The food was very good, specially a salad that we had. The fried calamari was a bit chewy so that’s something I won’t recommend. I expected it to be crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Sangria was a bit sweet with so much ice and little fruits that it had diluted the flavour I felt. But other than, it’s a good place to enjoy a lunch date and with a very good view and vibe.
