All in all, it was a bad experience. As a first impression, we waited for about 15 minutes to receive the menu (in an almost empty restaurant). The waitress was really not nice after she realized that we were tourists (otherwise, she was nice to everyone else around us). She spoke to us exclusively in Spanish, even though she understood perfectly well that we couldn’t speak Spanish. We had a misunderstanding right away when we ordered drinks: there was only one option for sangria available on the menu (red one in a 1.5-liter size). After we ordered, she showed up with two glasses of sangria. I let her know that we ordered a "large jug" and pointed to the menu. She then started speaking to me in Spanish again in an upset manner (almost rolling her eyes) and finally came back with what we had originally ordered. After we chose our food, she left with the menu but returned after about 5 minutes to inform us that they had run out of one of the main ingredients in the dish I had just ordered, looking at me cluelessly (no other options, no advice). When I asked her to bring back the menu since I didn’t know it by heart, she did so with a sulky attitude. Finally, we received our food, but it was (and this was the most painful part) really bad and of cheap quality. There are a lot of really good restaurants within 50 meters, I advise checking them out instead...

This place is chaotic, I was so mad for the stuff. I have never experienced anything like that because we were left alone for almost an hour, the waitress didn’t even check on us or didn’t even come outside. I had to go in twice for order food and drinks and I had to take cutlery from other tables because the waitress forget to bring them right after we asked for it.

Also after 4pm every parent and their kids were standing around the restaurant waiting for their other children come outside from school which made the place super noisy and uncomfortable that time. They were there for almost 2 hours which made our late lunch unenjoyable. The parents let the children running around like crazy, everyone was talking loudly with each other so I felt like I can’t even hear my own thoughts.

Overall the food was okay, but they didn’t make the pizzas as we asked. So after all this I wouldn’t have chosen this place, because I felt I wasn’t important as a customer and I couldn’t eat my lunch in peace. Also they don’t speak...

Definitely not coming back here. The spaghetti carbonara was more a cream soup with pasta, and incredibly bland and flavourless. The pizzas were impressively bland and flavourless as well. You may have noticed that as a theme. It's amazing that even the pepperoni had somehow been stripped of flavour. I didn't know this was even possible 🙄 My beer that was meant to be a pint was in a half-filled glass and I don't believe it was actually a pint. The ice cream for dessert was almost entirely melted and was even more liquidy than most milkshakes.

All in all, not a place I'd tell anyone to go unless I actively disliked them. This restaurant probably only survives on people who only come once, I can't imagine many people being returning...

We loved eating here so much, we dined twice at O Mamma Mia's while visiting Málaga. We ordered the bruchetta, boloñesa, gnocci, carbanara, truffle pizza with mushrooms and La Primavera pizza. The owner was so sweet, accomidating and funny. He brought us delicious sangria and limoncellos (which were strong and delicious!) this place has a warm and inviting atmosphere which is exactly why we chose it. The prices are fair for the quality of food you're getting. If you're in town, please stop by, you won't regret it.
