Sagrado Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Málaga

I’m not much of a “review person,” but from the moment you step into Sagrado, it’s clear this is more than just a café—it’s a destination for anyone who truly values coffee. This place is hands down one of the best coffee spots I’ve ever visited in Spain. What really makes it special isn’t just the coffee (which is amazing), but the baristas, Bryan and Pablo really know their stuff and you can tell they love what they do. They’re always happy to chat about the beans, the roast, or the best brew method, and they do it in such a friendly, approachable way that it makes the whole experience fun. The coffee itself is absolutely outstanding. Every cup tastes so fresh and full of flavor—whether it’s a smooth espresso shot or a pour-over with all those bright, complex notes. You can tell they care about every detail, and it really shows in the taste. It’s the kind of place where you don’t just grab a coffee and go—you end up staying, learning a little, and leaving with a new appreciation for what’s in your cup. Incredible! I was firstly greeted by lovely, welcoming staff who can speak both Spanish/English. The menu is varied and contains dishes ranging from classic brunch dishes e.g eggs Benedict to also having yoghurt bowls and counter goodies like carrot cake. Unfortunately, the acai wasn’t there so I had the Zeus yoghurt bowl instead, but this was amazing. In particular, I loved the granola, which had a lovely orange flavour coming through. We were staying just around the corner from this fabulous coffee shop and stopped in for breakfast. The coffee was absolutely delicious and the hummus toast was fantastic. Its a beetroot hummus with feta and tomatoes. Really delicious.
