We stopped by for a quick fix of oysters and caviar. Knowledgeable staff, delectable oysters. Tried Iranian caviar for the first time. Really disgusting. Either Iranian caviar is a sham or the restaurant had stale caviar. Either way, with nothing forthcoming from the waitress despite mentioning how awful it was, we trudged through our substandard caviar, dozen oysters and 2 glasses of wine, seated outside the restaurant on the side of the street with fellow travellers, and beggars passing by, whilst stopping to gawk and judge. Would not repeat the experience but if you must get your oyster fix, please sit inside...

Oysters are of great quality but perhaps 2 comments: 1) in general it’s a pricy place; I mean the average price for an oyster is 3.80€ and that’s high in Spain… and 2) the cheapest options (2.80-3.60€) are never available… And while the quality is what matters (and nobody wants to risk to feel unwell and get out of season oysters if it’s), still it’s just odd to see a list of dozen oysters on their menu and only 4 are available .. like almost always.

Cavas and other food options are also available! The service is fine and there’s a little terrace too; which is quite quiet considering the place is...

They have lots of different types of oysters, third time in Malaga and I am always coming back. I will just never understand what's with the 50 cents charging for tabasco. I have visited lots of oyster bars around Spain and Portugal and this has never happened and it's ridiculous. I am paying 100€ just for oysters and then you are charging the tabasco 0.5€. People, come on! Next time I will get my own tabasco, just because I find it hard to believe that you are charging few...

Great place to sit on the narrow street, eat oysters and caviar, drink wine or something sparkling, and watch the world go by, which it did for a couple of hours late one afternoon. Not sure why it’s called Medusa. Probably because of the oysters. Glad the hotel was close by. John Hornick/YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

La Medusa delivered the very best seafood I have experienced in a few years. I am from the Pacific NW in the United States where seafood is supreme; La Medusa exceeded all expectations. Paired with champagne, this restaurant was the best I have experienced in 2 months of traveling Spain. What a find!!
