Sherlock Holmes pub — Restaurant in Málaga

Located right next to the Cathedral, we visited the place five times over a period of twenty days and would definitely come back a thousand more. Beautiful cocktails, broad selection of beers. The atmosphere at this place is amazing and above all - must be said because it’s very hardly found - the staff was super nice, friendly and very accommodating despite the massive amount of work due to the customers that practically fight each other to get a table or even sit by the bar every night. All of the waiters spoke native Spanish, English and two of them - I must say I was surprised - even spoke French very fluently. Never expected to write a review but here it goes: They have a board saying "bebida + tapa 4€" in huge letters but only cheese and proscciuto are tapas. They also have a board next to that one with 6 pictures of different plates with a drink to mislead The guiness was dead. Apparently, nachos are a main course and not a tapa. The nachos only have 2 sauces while the menu said there would be 3. The guacamole is awful. Probably from the store. Tastes like onion. The bar was almost empty and it took them 25min to bring the nachos in which every element is bought and not home made. The manager was thoughtful on giving a 2€ discount and clear on his message but the rest was just disappointing after...

Had a bird poop on me while I was sitting outside having a drink at their establishment. I was able to get it cleaned up myself. I asked the waitress if the yawning above us could be moved out a bit so this would not happen again. Her boss said NO. It would take away from people being able to see the church just down the road. So they are more concerned about the view then having their customers get shit on by all the birds. We would have stayed for more drinks and food but left after the one drink. We noticed that the people that were sitting around us, hardly looked up to see the church. Go some where else where they care more about...
