Alduccio — Restaurant in Madrid

My recent dining experience here was deeply disappointing. Despite arriving early, the staff appeared unwelcoming toward Asian customers, prioritizing seating for non-Asian patrons behind us in line. After a prolonged wait, we were assigned a table directly by the entrance with a constant draft—even though other vacant seats were available. When requesting to move, the staff initially refused and only reluctantly agreed after sensing our frustration.

Service remained subpar throughout the meal: orders were taken with indifference, dishes arrived at an unreasonably slow pace, and requests for assistance were met with minimal effort. The lack of professionalism and apparent bias in treatment left a sour impression. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking respectful service or a comfortable dining...

Worst customer service ever, the food truly sucked.. the spaghetti bolognese almost gave me a sodium coma... the "croquetas" beyond greasy and the waiter didn't even bother to asked if I wanted the small portion so she went ahead and charged me $14 euros for a small plate of 7 croquettes instead of $6... The $2 euros for seating there extra made no sense after already paying $42 euros for the stupid meal for a one person.. desert beyond disgusting, not worth The $6 euros, it's the worst panacota I ever had,,, but what really top off my night was being treated as a ghetto gangster just for the fact that I was wearing sweatpants and hat, I had just finished working out and I was beyond hungry... La comida es en verdad una mierda y el servicio al cliente ni se diga...

The food is of a good standard, however the service is simply not. The servers let down the overall experience. Imagine spooning your dessert to be asked if you are finished! . It is not acceptable. The table was not wiped down in between service when it was visibly dirty. When my partner entered the restaurant, he was told he could not have a beverage without eating- the restaurant was empty! Overall we spent 94€ on dinner. Enjoyed the food but the waiters need to be taken to be educated on...
