Do not come here if you are not Spanish (and don’t like raw steak). As soon as we walked into this restaurant it was clear the servers did not want us there. When the waitress asked if we wanted drinks we asked for a drinks menu and were met with a very blunt response of “beer and wine”. As we were not given a menu we were unable to pick a specific bottle of wine as we wanted. When we were eventually given a menu before the food order we could see multiple different wines on offer so we were disappointed we could not have picked a bottle ourselves from the menu. Upon being seated we were given some canapés which weren’t to our taste and bread - we assumed these were complimentary but were charged for them on the bill. We decided on ordering a steak specified on the menu for 2 people, our server appeared annoyed we had chosen this despite it clearly being stated as for 2 people on menu. We ordered our steak medium, however when it arrived it was burnt on the outside and blue/raw on the inside (upon leaving the restaurant and reading further into previous reviews we found that this was a common issue). We struggled to eat this as raw steak isn’t to our taste however given the hostility from our servers we felt uncomfortable bringing this up. When we said we didn’t want desert, bill and card machine arrived immediately. When we left the restaurant we could see the servers talking and pointing at us which made me feel very uncomfortable and was not the sort of behaviour I would expect from such a high end establishment. Really disappointed overall as the meal was very expensive and we felt leaving that the meal was a bad...
We went for lunch. This people thought we were idiots. We ordered two Punta Trasera which is a typical cut of meat in Venezuela. They brought one slice of Jeff to me and one to my wife, no French fries that we were supposed to get along with the beef. Ordered cassava that never arrived, a Cuba Libre that was never served, we also had a Avocado salad and tostones with cheese. When I asked for the check they charged me 75 euros, and the waitress told me that the Punta Trasera was inky two slice of beef, like I had not been there ever before. I paid the 75 € and leave. They ruined my lunch and I lost that money, they lost a customer.
Read moreWe were recommended this restaurant for dinner by the Westin Cuzco concierge. Our experience was mediocre. Granted it was a Monday night, with only two tables occupied except for our party, all non-locals. There was no atmosphere. The service was poor, possibly due to the waiters lacking experience. One came to take the drinks order without providing a wine carte. When he brought one, he wasn't aware that the wine we were ordering was actually not available. Some 10 minutes later he came to offer other options. Again, one of our party ordered a steak dish, and it take him 25 minutes or so to come back and say the steak cut was not available, and that we had to order something else. The food was OK, my monk fish portion was too small for the price (€30) but was tasty. The eggplant was practically raw and inedible. Additionally, they charged for the bread that...
