It has been a long time since I was so irritated by the service of personnel in a restaurant / bar. And it's such a pity... because the place looks really good, the terras is very big and well organized with the bar and the food is normal. Price quality a little disappointing because e.g the gambas with curry is a really nice new approach to the concept of the original Thai recipe but then please use fresh ingredients! The gambas were like shewing gums and pure powder meaning not fresh when bought and over cooked... such a waste for such a jewel of the sea. The toilets are clean but as a side note maybe it's useful for the people of the kitchen to know that everyone who passes to the toilet can look right to the most messy corner of the kitchen... closing that door would hide that thing. I even don't want to think further how the rest of the kitchen looks like. So to end I will rephrase with what I began: the service was really disappointing. My guest told me that the place is known as to be posh. Honestly I see only one reason: the waiters. They walk like 'look how important I am' and the EarPods they are wearing are used like they think they're CIA agents, I was observing them with a smile really, so silly it looked... so normally I grade a restaurant / bar 2,5 stars for the food and 2,5 for the rest but the service was so disappointing that I even go below that: 2/5. Read moreEstuvimos el otro dia tomando algo a media tarde en la terraza, que parece que se divide en área de comedor, el centro con mesas y sillas altas y area de picoteo/tomar algo con mesas bajas. La terraza está decorada con plantas y luces, para ocultar los edificios, ya que está como en medio de un patio de edificios. El sitio es agradable a la vista.
Nos pusieron en las mesas altas y nos dijeron que el resto estaba todo reservado, un poco incomodas ya que estuvimos un par de horas y durante ese tiempo hubo mesas desocupadas en la zona de picoteo. Luego ya preguntamos para cenar y entonces si nos pasaron a una de las mesas del area de comedor.
De cenar pedimos unas berenjenas en tempura con salmorejo, que eran nada berenjena y todo masa, parecida a la de los calamares pero más basta. Un carpaccio de buey, que eso si estaba bueno, bien cortado y bien condimentado y pulpo, que era una pata esmirriadilla con 4 patatas, la verdad que poca cosa y la presentación básica.
Los camareros amables, aunque parecían un poco desorganizados, a pesar de que tenian sus mesas asignadas y bastante personal. Nos trajeron también un plato que no era nuestro.
La verdad que calidad-precio-ambiente no me acabó de convencer, quizás mucho volumen de trabajo para la cocina y falto organización, no sé.
