Just giving the 1 star for the customer service which didn’t give me a chance to dine there. Arrived at the restaurant with a 4yr old and after almost 10min to get the waiter’s attention for an english menu, he handed over a QR code and left me right away. Didn’t have Internet to check it online and it took me another 5-10 min to ask him for wifi access which again he gave me a hotspot name and password and left. The password was not working and I tried for another 15min to get his attention but no luck with a hungry and fussy kid. The waiter was only serving the patio customers with not many ppl in queue on a Tue eve. All the locals were getting prompt attention but not us. I ended up leaving without even getting the chance to look at the menu as I had to...

This place is nice, bright, and cheerful. Service is ok, but the staff that was helping our party of 3 was young and didn't have too much experience. We asked for a table for 3. Two of us showed up on time and we kept a seat for the late one. But, another server took the chair about 10min after we were seated without asking us about it. We got another chair about 2min later. Food is ok, but definitely has room for improvement. All 3 of us agreed. Just a neutral or bland taste for the octopus platter and the steak. The croquettes de jamon were ok but I have had better, for sure. Double-size beer here is standard size almost everywhere else. We averaged €30ea and left...

Excellent local eatery in Madrid serving what is, quite possibly, the best artichoke dish I have ever had. Artichokes are in their main season from October to December and again from February to June when they bud a second time. What Cazorla does is to smash and fry the artichokes in Spain's amazing olive oil and the adorn it with the jamon iberico ! Just look at the marbling on that jamon.... incredible. Easy access via the number 10 metro line at Cuzco or from the Santiago Bernabeu stadium (Real Madrid !) station and then a short walk.

Excellent seafood at very reasonable prices. Javier was an outstanding waiter. We ordered way too much food thinking that the plates would be small. We had the Ensalada Cazorla, Fritura de la casa (mixed fried shellfish and small fish), Ensalada marinera, and Revuelto de trigueros, setas, and gambas. We also enjoyed vino tinto and café descafeinado. The restaurant opened at 8:30. Luckily we arrived by 8:45 as it was packed by 9AM.

I really love the place. There’s other Cazorla restaurants across Madrid, however this is the only one I got to visit so far, on 3-4 occasions. They excel at some dishes while others are just ok. But the staff is always very friendly, polite and helpful. And I find the prices to be fair for eating outside in a restaurant. Portions are big so watch out, it’s easy to over order. I’ll definitely be back again :)
