Bosque de piamonte — Restaurant in Madrid

Two possibilities: Either the restaurant was recently sold Or they’ve bought reviews on Google and TripAdvisor

The waitress seemed annoyed the moment we arrived (though the other two staff members were friendly). We asked for the wine list… see photo.. and counted just three Italian wines. No Prosecco, no Chianti… absurd for a so-called “Italian” restaurant. We then asked for the cocktail list: only three options, none Italian, not even a Spritz.

The food was fine, nothing more. The decor is average at best.

To be fair, the value for money isn’t bad. But I chose this place because it’s ranked 13th out of more than 13,000+ restaurants in Madrid… and it was a huge letdown.

If you want to eat quickly and just okay, go ahead. Otherwise, avoid, classic...

We called ahead to let them know we would be 15 minutes late for our reservation, and they were very accommodating about it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and quick to respond to our needs. When they found out we were celebrating a birthday, they surprised us by adding a candle to the dessert we ordered, even though we didn't request it. The atmosphere was relaxed and not too noisy, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The food was decent, not mind-blowing, but we really enjoyed the pizza with a cheese that tasted like goat cheese. That one stood out. I’ve ordered two pizzas and I only received one, the pizza I ordered was burned and there was a hair in it. I’ve contacted the restaurant multiple times to solve the problem and they told me they couldn’t find my order so I sent them a picture of my order and order number and they blocked my phone number and after lying to me and telling me on WhatsApp they weren’t the restaurant (even tho the WhatsApp picture was literally the name of the restaurant😂) they blocked me on WhatsApp...
