What an absolute joke this place is. After recommendations from Spain revealed…I can say this is the worst churros establishment I have ever been to in my life. We walked across the city of Madrid to get to it, only to be served stone cold Churros and Porras. The excuse they gave was because they were closing in thirty minutes. So they serve you the leftovers they make in the morning if though it takes a few minutes to fry them. The owner was rude, no apologies and we paid for the churros and left without eating them.

Save your time and visit another place….unless you want cold churros and excuses.

Edit: If the kitchen was already closed and the staff had already finished their day, why was the option for Churros to be served still given? No prior announcement to the customers about this misleading practice? The ironic thing was, you would also be upset when you paying money for an inferior product. In fact I was trying to understand. The owner was rude, and pointed to his Watch saying it’s closed. Disappointing you can try and justify a churros business by giving a customer not want they are paying for. You mention it takes time to turn on the fryer…why not close your fryer when your trading hours close. Do not mislead customers. I should have read the reviews before just listening to Spanish revealed. That’s my mistake, so I will warn others to visit...

Cute but small shop serving up hot chocolate and churros/porras. For 4.60 euros, you get the set of either just porras or churros, or a combination of both alongside a cup of hot chocolate to dip. We went around 3pm on a Wednesday and got a table immediately as it wasn’t full. I overheard another table mentioning that it’s usually packed around 12pm and 5pm as that’s when porras and churros are freshly fried.

Our porras were not hot, churros were warm. The churros were good, porras were a bit oily but also good. I thought they were fine, it probably would be better freshly fried but it was nice to sit in a quiet shop and enjoy our afternoon snack without the chaos and noise of a packed store. We also ordered Horchata and they were super refreshing and not too sweet. I don’t think the menu has Horchata listed, but do ask for it! I believe it was 2.50 euros for a cup.

The server speaks English and was friendly. Menus are via QR code on the napkin dispenser, but the server offers a printed menu when the website is down. I believe there’s only 1 printed English menu; he does mention that prices are outdated on printed menus, they’re just mainly a...

I was so excited to come here, travelled basically from Barcelona to just give the churros and porras a try. I’m giving this 3 stars based on my personal experience and not to persuade others that this will also be their experience if they come.

Churros, based on taste is good and not too sweet, the porras as well tastes good. The problem was since it was not warm or was probably made a couple of hours before I ordered them, because they were chewy, the porras no longer has a crunch on the outside, it was not airy, it was just "you know" like a bigger churro but gummy. Churros were fine even when they aren’t warm or made in the moment of order.

The chocolate where you dip the churros and porras was very nice and cozy.

The atmosphere was ok, it was quite hot inside so expect to sweat a little while enjoying your coffee and hot chocolate.

The lady that served me was friendly and accommodating.

I think it is best to come here in the morning or midday when they are making the churros and porras at the moment.
