El Criollo Taquería - Mercado Maravillas — Restaurant in Madrid

This taqueria has the opportunity to be among the best tacos in Madrid but we were disappointed in our order via Glovo. We ordered an horchata but the mug was maybe 3/4 full. The tacos flavor is good with the authentic corn tortillas, however the tinga de pollo was very dry especially towards the end of the meal. We ordered a package of 14 tortillas with 500grams of the protein, but we only received two tiny cups of sauces to put on. The order description also gave the impression we will get some guacamole and pineapple which in my opinion add much flavor to the taco, but there was none of those. Maybe all of this is only an experience with the delivery side of the restaurant, but I would recommend adjusting these portions for the drinks and sauces to give a real taco experience that is not missing any aspects. My new favorite taco place. Located in the market for an easy snack while doing other shopping. Good tacos. Tasty tacos. Tacos you can order one by one, instead of four of the same taco for like €12 at other places. If you tell them you have an allergy, they are good at answering questions. (And yeah, if you have a piña 🍍 allergy, no pastor for you and one of their salsas is also a no go.) Reasonable prices. They also do take away, but you need to heat the tortillas yourself at home tondo them justice. (and the chopped onion is hidden under the cilantro. It is there. Just gotta check under the cilantro.)

Es verdad que todo lo que comimos estaba muy muy rico y quienes nos atendieron fueron muy amables pero en momentos en los que hay mucha gente se les notaba muy sobrepasados, aquí comento algunas cosas que creo que deberían mejorar/cambiar: Al hacer la comanda en caja no me dieron el ticket (debería haberlo pedido, SI, culpa mia). Así no pude comprobar si todo lo pedido estaba, o había alguna cosa de más o de menos. Luego haciendo cálculos con los precios de su carta creo que el importe cobrado fue mayor al que debía haber sido; quizás pusieron alguna cosa que no dije (o me expliqué mal) aunque nosotros sólo nos comimos lo que pedimos (o queríamos pedir). Lo que es seguro es que algún combo lo anotaron por separado. Nada de salsas en la mesa, como no te busques tú alguna suelta que veas por ahí no tienes salsas Los cocineros al principio decían el nombre a quien debían entregar la comida; pero luego había un montón de platos en la barra que no sabían a quién se tenían que entregar. Si no llevas la cuenta de lo que has comido y de lo que te falta, malo. Dos de los platos los tuve que reclamar en barra tras ver qué clientes que habían pedido después que yo se llevaban platos como los que nos faltaban(en plena vorágine) y me los dieron (aunque no sabían a quién pertenecían). Mal control de comandas y tiempos. Volveremos porque todo estaba rico y nuestras experiencias previas (en su anterior localización, dentro del Mercado, cuando eran “pequeñitos”) siempre...
