El Torrezno Filipino delivers authentic Filipino flavors that truly capture the essence of traditional Pinoy cuisine in Madrid. While they offer a limited range menu, the kitchen focuses on cooking delicious dishes with the care and attention that authentic Filipino food deserves.
My favorite was the lumpia shanghai, featuring perfectly crispy spring rolls with well-seasoned meat filling that delivered the exact taste and texture that makes this Filipino appetizer so beloved. The execution was spot-on, rivaling what you'd find in the Philippines itself.
The lechon kawali was good as well, showcasing crispy pork belly paired with a nice sweet BBQ sauce that complemented the rich, fatty pork perfectly. The contrast between the crunchy exterior and tender meat inside demonstrated proper lechon technique.
The restaurant provides great portions of fried rice to accompany the entrees, ensuring diners leave satisfied while maintaining the authentic garlic-forward flavor that defines Filipino fried rice.
The tocilog was also a highlight with very generous portions that showcase this classic Filipino breakfast combination of sweet cured pork, garlic rice, and egg - comfort food executed with authentic flavors and proper proportions.
The sizzling pork sisig hit the right flavor notes as well, delivering the tangy, savory, and slightly spicy combination that makes this dish such a Filipino favorite, served properly sizzling hot as tradition demands.
Shout out to the super nice Filipino staff who clearly take pride in sharing their authentic cuisine and creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes fellow Filipinos feel at home while introducing others to genuine...

ENGLISH:
This restaurant has no respect nor commitment to their customers' time. Imagine: We called them 3 days prior to ask if they are open on the 25th of December because understandably it is Christmas Day and they might be closed but they said YES. We booked a reservation for lunch because they said they'll be open and will close at 6 pm. They gave confirmation and even took our number. I booked this for my Spanish in-laws to show-off good quality Filipino food and we head up to Madrid. Imagine our surprise when went today on the day of the reservation to find them closed. They didn't even bother to call to cancel our reservation. We could have booked another restaurant if they even just bothered to let us know that they couldn't open. Poor customer service and just disrespect on other people's time....
