Ever since I discovered Etual on instagram, I instantly wanted to go! The branding is so unique and eye catching, and what can we say about the deep blue with the contrasting textured walls? I take my coffee seriously, so I am always on the hunt for great, specialty and sustainable coffee combined with a place that is meticulous about design. Tried their fresh orange juice mixed with cold brew and it was surprisingly good! I tried a Guatemalan pour over and their batch from Burundi, and they were amazing! Their homemade lemonade is really good and I recommend trying the avocado arepa with halloumi. Beautiful place to have a moment with friends or yourself. They have a wall mounted magazine rack with curated magazines and books you will want to check out! Highly recommend visiting!

The barista who served me, Sebastian, is an exceptionally talented barista who really knows his coffee. The shots he pulled were exquisite and the texture of the milk in my cortados was perfection. Probably the best cortados I've had in all of Spain. On top of that, he took his time to help me choose exactly the right beans to take with me for my aeropress go, recommending that i go with something different than I'd originally chosen, and the choice he recommended was excellent. The homemade tart i had with my coffee was also phenomenal. The environment in the shop was cozy and clean and I felt very welcome there, even as an obvious tourist who had a backpack with me, as I was between trains. I absolutely recommend a visit to this shop, it is well worth it.

Really cute spot tucked into a quiet side street in huertas. Very aesthetic, with an attention to detail and presentation that younger, posh crowds will appreciate. As I don’t drink coffee, I’m always looking for cafes that serve multiple types of teas. I was satisfied with the selection here. All the tea is loose and it’s served in an individual teapot, which I love. Great music and a fun selection of books and magazines to peruse. You can work on your laptop from the interior bar seats (2 people), but not from the tables. Wifi available.

This small café is an absolute gem— clean, cosy, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The shelves lined with plants and colourful books add a lovely, welcoming touch, and you can browse while you wait for the food. The Brazilian bossa nova playlist was also very nice and appropriate.

The staff are incredibly friendly and speak English, which is helpful. There’s also complimentary water available near the counter, which is a nice detail and they also present their other products such as t-shirts and caps.

I had the avocado egg toast, which was simple and perfectly done, with clear attention to presentation. The cakes were delicious too, especially the banana bread which was moist and tasted of cinnamon.

The space can get busy but I highly recommended for a relaxed and...
