Gosto Café — Restaurant in Madrid

Good coffee and food....BUTTTT

You have the perfect cafe for remote work but those who have remote work cannot sit in 75% of the cafe - does not make much sense when the cafe is seemingly empty in the middle of the day.

SUGGESTION TO THE CAFE: like most cafes, you should put a time stamp on those that can work on their computers in the cafe or at certain tables. If you usually have an empty cafe in the middle of the day, why would you deny seating or service to people working from their laptops?

I will also say this is not a complaint to the service of the restaurant. The people that work here are very sweet but the "rules" of the cafe really...

If I could give zero, I would. Service was extremely slow. We ordered a flat white and we got a cortado with some weird tasting milk. The açai bowl was frozen and the taste was bland. We had to ask for our order at least twice. When mentioned the error in the order, they just say “this is how people like their food” avoid at all costs unless you like overpriced bland food.

Al llegar, el lugar estaba lleno por lo que tuvimos que esperar 10 min a qué alguien saliera. Cuando eso ocurrió, nos enteramos que le dieron la mesa a otra persona que llegó después de nosotros. En "compensación" nos llevaron a un sótano donde tenían montado como una sala de reuniones y nos sentaron en una mesa baja NO preparada para comer en ella (era muy baja y por ello, incómoda). En ese sótano había una mesa grande de reuniones donde habia un grupo de gente sentada, cuando este grupo se fue, decidimos ocupar su sitio ya que, aunque era grande, era una mesa normal y por tanto no iba a ser incómodo comer allí. Para nuestra sorpresa, al momento llegó la camarera y nos echó de esa mesa ya que había traído a otro grupo de gente (otra vez no respetando el turno de llegada). Tras llegarnos la comida y estar media comida ya, por fin nos consiguen una mesa normal, total para 5 min porque ya habíamos comido casi. Además la comida ni siquiera estaba tan buena o era tan elaborada para esos precios, lo único que recomendaría es la tostada de aguacate.
