Found this place on Google and decided to check it out.
There were at least 5 people ahead of us in the queue when we arrived but it took 45mins of wait to eventually reach our turn to order. Wondering what's the whole bottleneck lies. The guy who took our order was super distracted at completing a task. We ordered 1 Cappuccino and 1 latte and stood there watching 4 staffs helplessly trying to sort the orders. There was no proper deployment at all. The guy was 1 minute doing drinks, 1 min washing the dishes and sending orders next. I mean there's 4 staffs in there (not including the ones at the kitchen sending food orders) clearly there should be a deployment so the staffs won't be seen running around doing different tasks.
Like as if the 45mins of wait to order was not enough, we had to wait for another 20mins to get our take away coffees. In that 20mins, we witnessed several dine in customers complaining that their order has not arrived, the coffee that came was cold (it was made but left there has there was no staff to send it to the tables) or to cancel their orders (both food and drinks) as it took very long to arrive.
So you would expect an hour of wait for a take away coffee would at least be worth it at the first sip? Firstly our milk and foam ratio was not even right. Both our cappuccino and latte had the same weight of 3/4 milk and 1/4 foam. Taste wise, the milk tasted like it was not properly aerated, hence the flat taste. Were we disappointed? Yes. I am not trying to be anal coffee drinker. If you're supposed to be well known for your coffee, shouldn't the barista at least know the difference between cappuccino and a latte after waiting an...
Read moresummary for those who find the review long; overpriced, standard food, hard to drink coffee.. When you walk in, they probably want to give you the feeling that they are playing for taste rather than decoration. For this reason, you can say that there is no decoration anyway and the metal plates and trays used in the service, combined with the empty walls, created the feeling that you were spending time in a prison cafeteria 🫠 When we came to the tasting part, we ordered americano cafe and avocado&scrambled eggs + portobello&poaxhed eggs. First of all, the coffee arrived about 10 minutes before the toasts! In other words, I think it is a service mistake to bring a product that will cool down quickly like coffee 10 minutes before the meal you are going to consume with it. if there were comments that thought the opposite about this, then this customer should be asked when the order was taken! The Americano was hard in taste, which caused us to leave half of the coffee. The toasts were visually prepared nicely and the taste was normal, in other words, there was no extreme taste or flavor explosion. Apart from that, what I want to criticize is the pricing policy. A restaurant located just below the cafe sells a menu del dia for starters + main course + dessert and an alcoholic drink for 15.5 euros! Now, when I consider that I paid 15.4 euros for a toast and a coffee, I think the place is...
Read moreHanso Cafe offers a delightful experience with a few minor hiccups. First, be prepared for a brief wait, as we spent approximately 25-30 minutes before getting a table. However, the ambiance inside is worth the wait. The cozy, warm atmosphere creates an inviting and pleasant dining environment.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the breakfast. Every dish we ordered was super delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were on point, and the presentation was impressive. The menu offers a diverse range of options, catering to different tastes.
Despite the wait, I highly recommend stopping by Hanso Cafe if you're in the area. The combination of scrumptious food and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a worthwhile visit. The cafe's charm lies in its ability to provide a memorable dining experience, even if you have to be a little patient to...
