Gorila Malasaña — Restaurant in Madrid

This is a cool bar. It's dark and funky, a bit like a student bar. The music is good and they project some 80's films on a big screen while you drink. The music isn't very loud and the atmosphere is very amenable. Of course, Happy hour they serve pints of beer for €3.50 which in Madrid is very reasonable and the bar staff are really friendly. I go about once a week just to unwind after work. Well worth a visit! Really enjoyed the vibe at Gorila Bar. The place has a great ambiance and just a generally cool feel to it, definitely a good spot in Madrid. The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish they had a few more options on the drink menu. The selection felt a bit limited. Also, the seating isn't the most comfortable, so it's maybe not the best place to settle in for hours. But honestly, everything else was awesome and we had a great time. Would recommend...

The inside of the place is very spacious, but there are a limited number of tables and chairs outside (due to city regulations). The staff is very helpful and attentive.
